The fertiliser specifically supplies aquatic plants with the essential macronutrients nitrogen, phosphate and potassium.
The special formulation is nitrogen-rich, phosphate-limited and potassium-enriched. This makes the fertiliser particularly well-suited to aquariums with soil, as it supports nutrient supply without unnecessarily affecting the natural nutrient dynamics of the substrate. The result is vigorous, robust and relatively compact plant growth.The ready-to-use liquid fertiliser is easy to dose and can be individually adjusted depending on plant density, lighting, CO₂ supply and nutrient consumption. NPK Soil can also be used in aquariums without soil if a controlled supply of macronutrients with reduced phosphate input is desired.

Jessica's expertise in aquaristics includes not only the selection and care of different fish species, but also the design of aquarium landscapes. She deals intensively with topics such as water quality, filter technology and lighting in order to create optimum conditions for the well-being of the aquatic inhabitants.

What is meant by aquaristics?
Aquaristics provides all the products you need to create an aquarium biotope. From the aquarium to the technology such as filters and heating, but also all furnishings for a freshwater or saltwater aquarium are summarised in this category.
Aquaristics is an exciting hobby for young and old. An underwater world enriches any living space, and watching the fish has a calming effect.
Aquaristics is divided into seawater and freshwater aquaristics. The difference in salt content distinguishes these two bodies of water. Saltwater has a salt content of over 4%, i.e. there are 4 kilograms of sea salt per 120 litres of water. Fresh water is water that has a maximum of 0.1% dissolved salts. In the zones where a river flows into the sea, mixed water occurs — this is called brackish water, and the salt content varies. The salt content is constantly changing due to the ebb and flow of the tide.
What is an aquarium keeper called?
He is called as Aquarist, Fish Keeper, Aquarium hobbyist or Aquarium or fish enthusiast. A feminine form is not common. Ichthyologist (someone who studies fish) would actually be the perfect answer. To do well with aquaristics, you would have to study the fish and learn what works well to keep them optimally.

How expensive is it to keep a fish tank?
The price depends very much on the size of the aquarium and the technology. Fighting fish aquariums require almost no technology; it is even possible to operate the aquarium without a filter. Aquariums can also be operated fully automatically, with computers controlling the fertilisation and water values, topping up the water and controlling the light for sunrise and sunset. If you want to buy such a high-tech system, you will have to dig deep into your wallet.
But in aquarists, there is the possibility for every budget to acquire an underwater world and then enjoy the ornamental fish.
