Wound spray - Ideal for the initial treatment of scratches and minor injuries or bronchial drops - Support the respiratory tract and help with cold symptoms.
Hygiene for rodents - cleanliness for a healthy home
Small animals are naturally clean. Well thought-out hygiene helps them to feel comfortable. Chinchillas, hamsters and even mice love sand baths for grooming or as a toilet. While rabbits are happy to have a toilet - as they always do their business in the same place - a toilet also helps with easy cleaning and saves litter.
Claw care - it's the length that counts
When keeping rodents as pets, it can happen that their claws grow too quickly or are unable to shed sufficiently. This can depend on the surface in the rodent home, but also on the speed at which the claws grow. In any case, offer your rodents different types of bedding to wear down their claws and if this is not enough, be sure to use commercially available claw clippers to shorten the claws. These have been designed to enable safe claw cutting. Please pay close attention to the blood vessels in the claws, you should not damage them - otherwise they will start to bleed. If the claws are transparent, this is not a problem - but if the claws are dark in colour, the blood vessels are not clearly visible - it is better to trim too little than too much. Or simply come and see us - we will trim your rodent's claws by hand.
