We are an owner-managed pet shop with a retail outlet in Lyss (Seeland), where we offer a full range of pet supplies on over 850m2 of retail space and three floors.

History

I am one of those people who still work in the profession they learned. I started my apprenticeship as a pet shop assistant in 1982 and finished in 1984 with 1st place in the league table. Even during my apprenticeship, my vision was to open my own pet shop.

And at the age of just 22, I fulfilled this dream. The first shop space was small at 85m2, but we already had a full range of products back then. We moved to our current location in 2012. It is located in an old factory building with plenty of space for our approx. 6000 items on site. We can procure all other items from our various suppliers at short notice.

In 2001, I decided to go into e-commerce and opened the online shop www.zoo-roco.ch Since then, all our parcels have been packed locally in the shop and dispatched to our online customers in Switzerland and Lichtenstein. In all these years, well over 150,000 parcels have been dispatched, and many customers regularly benefit from the over 11,000 products in our shop.

Our great advantage is that each of your orders is processed by our specialists - so if we notice that something is not right (e.g. a light fitting that still needs a converter, but this has not been ordered), we will make you aware of this personally.
