In 85 g and 200 g.Wildcat VetLine Adult Renal Chicken is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency. The adapted formula supports kidney function and may also help to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate and urate stones. The kidneys perform vital functions in a cat’s body. They filter metabolic waste products from the blood, regulate fluid balance and help maintain mineral balance. In chronic renal insufficiency, this function gradually declines. A specially formulated diet can help to relieve the strain on the kidneys and support the wellbeing of affected cats. The Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken formula is characterised by a limited protein content and a reduced phosphorus content. With 8.2% crude protein and just 0.15% phosphorus, this wet food is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of cats with kidney disease. With 55% chicken as the main ingredient, this food provides selected animal proteins. The tasty recipe can be particularly beneficial for cats that have a reduced appetite due to their condition. The formula is supplemented with sweet potatoes, pumpkin, Jerusalem artichokes and alfalfa. The prebiotic fibres it contains, mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), can support a balanced gut flora and normal digestion.A key feature is the addition of 0.35% potassium citrate, which has a urine-alkalising effect. This means the food can help to influence the conditions under which calcium oxalate stones form. A suitably adapted diet may also be beneficial in cases of certain disorders of uric acid metabolism. The linseed oil contained in the food provides valuable fatty acids. With a fat content of 8.5% and an energy content of 117 kcal per 100 g, the food offers good energy density, which can be particularly helpful for cats with a reduced appetite. The moisture content of 77% contributes further to daily fluid intake. Adequate hydration is particularly important for cats with kidney disease.Wildcat VetLine Renal was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The grain-free formula contains no added maize, soya or flavour enhancers. The diet wet food is available in the practical 85 g and 200 g sizes. This allows the natural flavours of the food to develop better and can improve acceptance, particularly in cats with a reduced appetite.Provide your cat with several places to drink. Many cats prefer fresh water in quiet spots. Wildcat VetLine Urinary ChickenWildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken. Grain-free dietary dry food for adult cats to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence. Available in 400 g and 3 kg.Wildcat VetLine Adult Urinary Chicken is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with certain lower urinary tract conditions. The balanced formulation supports the dissolution of struvite stones and helps to reduce the risk of struvite stones forming again.Urinary tract problems are relatively common in cats. The term FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) covers a range of conditions affecting the lower urinary tract. These include, amongst others, cystitis, urinary crystals and urinary stones. Symptoms may include a frequent urge to urinate, pain when urinating or sudden loss of bladder control.Struvite crystals and struvite stones are particularly common. These consist of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate. An excessively high, alkaline urine pH can promote their formation. The special formulation of Wildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken has urine-acidifying properties. The urine-acidifying agents it contains – DL-methionine and ammonium chloride – help to specifically lower the pH of the urine. Under suitable conditions, this can dissolve existing struvite stones and make it more difficult for them to reform.Another important component of the formulation is the adjusted magnesium and phosphorus content. The controlled supply of minerals is intended to help limit the formation of struvite crystals and reduce the risk of recurrent urinary stone problems. This dry food contains chicken as its main animal ingredient. Chicken provides valuable proteins and essential amino acids, which contribute to a diet tailored to the nutritional needs of adult cats. The grain-free formula is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of cats with struvite problems. In addition, the food contains the prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which can support a balanced gut flora and normal digestive function.Wildcat VetLine Urinary was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. This is a veterinary emergency. Seek immediate treatment at a veterinary practice or clinic.Zoo Roco TipAdequate water intake is one of the most important measures for cats with urinary tract problems. As cats naturally tend to drink very little, their urine can become highly concentrated. Under certain conditions, this increases the risk of urinary crystals and stones forming.Wildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken has urine-acidifying properties and contains an adjusted mineral content. This enables the dry food to provide nutritional support for veterinary treatment of struvite stones.Provide your cat with several water bowls in different, quiet locations. Many cats prefer drinking spots that are not right next to their food or litter tray.A cat fountain can also help encourage your cat to drink more frequently. For cats that drink very little, supplementing their diet with a suitable urinary wet food may be advisable. However, please consult your vet before introducing a mixed diet to ensure that the dietary properties of the total daily ration are maintained. You should also ensure there are plenty of clean litter trays and that the environment is as stress-free as possible. Stress can contribute to certain lower urinary tract conditions.Struvite stones and calcium oxalate stones require different nutritional management strategies. A diet designed to acidify the urine, such as Wildcat VetLine Urinary, is therefore not suitable for every type of urinary stone. We recommend having the success of the treatment checked regularly through veterinary urine tests.

Wildcat VetLine Renal ChickenWildcat VetLine Renal Chicken. Grain-free diet dry food to support kidney function in cats. With reduced protein and phosphorus content. Available in 400 g and 3 kg packs.Wildcat VetLine Adult Renal Chicken is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency. The carefully balanced formula supports kidney function and may also help to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate and urate stones. The kidneys perform vital functions in your cat’s body. They filter metabolic waste products from the blood, regulate water and electrolyte balance, and help maintain a balanced mineral balance. In chronic kidney failure, this function gradually declines. A targeted diet can help to relieve the strain on the kidneys and support the wellbeing of affected cats. The Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken formula is characterised by a limited protein content and reduced phosphorus and sodium levels. This means the food is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of cats with impaired kidney function.Controlled protein intake is intended to limit the formation of nitrogenous metabolic by-products. At the same time, a reduced phosphorus content is particularly important, as cats with chronic kidney disease are often no longer able to excrete excess phosphorus adequately. The dry food contains chicken as a selected source of animal protein. The tasty recipe with chicken and sweet potatoes is designed to encourage good palatability. This is particularly important for cats with kidney disease, as they often suffer from a reduced appetite.Another distinctive feature is the inclusion of potassium citrate, which has urine-alkalising properties. By influencing the pH of the urine, it can help to reduce the risk of calcium oxalate stones forming. The specially formulated composition also takes into account the nutritional requirements associated with certain disorders of uric acid metabolism. The grain-free formula also contains the prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). These can support a balanced gut flora and contribute to normal digestive function.Wildcat VetLine Renal was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The formula contains no added maize, gluten, soya or flavour enhancers. The diet dry food is available in handy 400 g and 3 kg packs. The smaller pack is particularly suitable for trying out the food, whilst the 3 kg pack is a stock-up size for long-term feeding.Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken is a complete dietetic feed for specific nutritional purposes. Kidney disease can vary in severity and requires a diet tailored to the individual cat.Daily food intakeThe daily food ration depends on your cat’s current body weight, nutritional status, age, activity level and the progression of the diseaseFollow the feeding guide on the packaging and adjust the amount in consultation with your vetWhere possible, divide the daily ration into several small meals. This can make it easier for cats with a reduced appetite to eatRecommended duration of useTo support kidney function in chronic renal failure, initially for up to 6 monthsTo reduce the formation of calcium oxalate stones, initially for up to 6 monthsTo reduce the formation of urate stones, initially for up to 6 monthsIn cases of irreversible disorders of uric acid metabolism, long-term or lifelong feeding may be necessaryVeterinary advice should be sought before use and before extending the duration of feedingChanging your cat’s dietUnless otherwise recommended by your vet, the switch to Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken should be made gradually over a period of approximately 14 daysStart with a small amount of the new food and gradually increase the portion size. Whilst doing so, monitor your cat’s food intake, the consistency of its stools and its general well-beingIn the event of acute health problems, a more rapid change in diet may be necessary. In this case, follow your vet’s instructionsFeeding and storageEnsure your cat always has access to plenty of fresh drinking water. Adequate fluid intake is particularly important in cases of chronic kidney diseaseStore the dry food in a cool, dry place and keep it tightly sealed to preserve its quality and freshness for as long as possibleImportant notesNot suitable for kittensNot suitable for pregnant or nursing catsDo not use in cases of liver failure with impaired bile secretionDo not use in cases of pancreatitis or hyperlipidaemia, unless otherwise advised by a vetDo not combine with other special diets without consulting your vetCheck body weight and food intake regularlyProvide fresh drinking water at all timesHave regular veterinary checks carried out to monitor kidney functionIf your cat persistently refuses food, vomits repeatedly or shows a marked deterioration in general health, you should consult a vet immediatelyZoo Roco TipCats with chronic kidney failure often require special attention when it comes to feeding. It is not only crucial to ensure an appropriate nutritional composition, but also that the cat eats enough and drinks sufficient fluids.Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken contains selected proteins and has a reduced phosphorus and sodium content. This means that the dry food can provide nutritional support for veterinary treatment of chronic renal failure. If your cat is drinking very little, you can moisten the dry food with a little lukewarm water. Allow the food to soak for a short while and remove any uneaten leftovers promptly.Alternatively, combining this with a suitable renal wet food may be advisable. However, please discuss any mixed feeding regime with your vet to ensure that the total daily ration continues to meet the specific requirements of a renal diet.Provide several water stations in quiet areas. Many cats prefer fresh water that is not placed directly next to their food or litter tray. A cat fountain can also help to encourage water intake.Weigh your cat regularly and keep an eye out for changes in appetite, drinking habits and body weight. Even slight weight loss can be significant in cats with kidney disease.Avoid giving additional phosphorus-rich snacks or standard cat food unless these have been expressly agreed with the treating veterinary practice.Regular veterinary check-ups help to tailor the diet to the individual progression of the kidney disease.

In 400 g and 3 kg.WILDCAT VetLine Adult Hypoallergenic Salmon is a specially developed complete dietetic food for adult cats with food intolerances. The carefully balanced formula is intended to reduce symptoms of ingredient and nutrient intolerances whilst simultaneously supporting skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss.Food intolerances can manifest themselves in different ways in cats. Frequent scratching, excessive grooming, skin redness, coat problems or recurring digestive complaints may indicate an intolerance to certain food components.A distinction is made between food allergies and food intolerances. Whilst in the case of an allergy the immune system reacts to certain components, in the case of an intolerance similar complaints can occur without the involvement of the immune system. The formula of WILDCAT VetLine Hypoallergenic Salmon relies on selected, clearly declared ingredients. With 33 % salmon, of which 22 % dried and 11 % fresh salmon, the dry food provides high-quality animal proteins and valuable omega-3 fatty acids. As a selected carbohydrate source, the formula contains 33 % sweet potatoes. These are naturally grain-free and provide energy as well as plant-based fibre. The composition is complemented by 2 % pumpkin and other plant-based ingredients.A special feature is the open declaration. The individual ingredients are listed specifically so that cat owners can understand which components are contained in the food. This is particularly important when specifically feeding cats with food intolerances. The crude protein content of 32 % supports the daily protein supply, whilst the fat content of 15 % enables an energy intake tailored to requirements.Salmon oil and sunflower oil provide essential fatty acids. In particular, the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA as well as the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid are important for normal skin function. An adequate supply can help to support the skin barrier and coat quality. The prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) contained can support a balanced intestinal flora and normal digestive function.WILDCAT VetLine Hypoallergenic was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The formula is grain-free and omits added maize, gluten, soya and artificial flavour enhancers. The diet dry food is available in the sizes 400 g and 3 kg. The smaller pack is particularly suitable for getting to know the food, whilst the 3 kg pack is a practical stock size for longer-term feeding. In the case of a medically supervised elimination diet, the suitability of the entire list of ingredients must be checked. The grain-free formula is limited to a few, clearly defined ingredients and thus makes it easier to control daily feeding.Salmon provides high-quality animal protein as well as valuable omega-3 fatty acids. The balanced formula supports the dissolution of struvite stones and helps to reduce the risk of struvite stones forming again.Urinary tract problems are among the more common health issues in cats. The term FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) covers various conditions affecting the lower urinary tract. These include, for example, cystitis, urinary crystals and urinary stones.Struvite crystals and struvite stones, which consist of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate, are particularly common. Their formation is promoted, amongst other things, by an alkaline urine pH.The specially formulated recipe of WILDCAT VetLine Urinary Turkey contains adjusted amounts of magnesium and phosphorus. In addition, the DL-methionine it contains ensures targeted acidification of the urine. This allows existing struvite stones to dissolve under suitable conditions and reduces the risk of them reforming. With 62 % turkey as the main ingredient, this wet food provides high-quality animal proteins and a hearty flavour. Available in 85 g and 200 g.Wildcat VetLine Adult Renal Turkey is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency. The adapted formula supports kidney function and may also help to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate and urate stones. The kidneys perform vital functions in a cat’s metabolism. They filter waste products from the blood, regulate water and electrolyte balance, and help maintain mineral balance. In chronic kidney failure, this filtering capacity gradually declines. A targeted diet can help to relieve the strain on the kidneys and support the quality of life of affected cats. The Wildcat VetLine Renal Turkey formula contains a limited protein content and a reduced phosphorus content. The adjusted protein content can reduce the amount of nitrogenous metabolic by-products, whilst the reduction in phosphorus is particularly important in cases of chronic kidney disease. With 53% turkey as the main ingredient, this wet food provides selected animal proteins. The tasty recipe may also appeal to cats whose appetite has diminished due to their illness. The food is supplemented with sweet potatoes, pumpkin, Jerusalem artichokes and alfalfa. Kidney diseases and different types of urinary stones require different nutritional management strategies.Where possible, divide the daily ration into several smaller meals. This can make it easier for cats to eat, particularly those with a reduced appetite.Recommended duration of useIn cases of chronic renal failure, initially for up to 6 monthsTo reduce the formation of calcium oxalate stones, initially for up to 6 monthsTo reduce the formation of urate stones, initially for up to 6 monthsIn cases of irreversible disorders of uric acid metabolism, lifelong feeding may be necessaryVeterinary advice should be sought before use and before extending the duration of feedingChanging your cat’s dietUnless otherwise recommended by a vet, the switch to Wildcat VetLine Renal should be made gradually over a period of approximately 14 days.In the event of acute health problems, a more rapid change to the diet may be necessary. In addition to the adapted nutrient composition, it is important that the cat eats sufficiently and drinks enough fluids.Wildcat VetLine Renal Turkey contains reduced phosphorus levels and selected animal proteins. This enables the food to provide nutritional support for the veterinary treatment of chronic kidney disease.Serve the wet food at a slightly warm temperature, or at room temperature. This allows the aroma to develop more fully, which can be particularly helpful for cats with a reduced appetite.Provide several drinking options in quiet places. A cat fountain may also encourage some cats to drink more frequently. For cats with kidney disease, we recommend regularly monitoring body weight and recording any changes in appetite, drinking behaviour and urine output.Do not mix the Renal food with ordinary cat food or unsuitable treats without consulting your vet. Doing so may alter the carefully balanced phosphorus and protein content of the daily ration.Regular veterinary check-ups to monitor kidney function and general health help to adapt the diet to the progression of the disease.

At the same time, the practical design ensures that cat litter stays inside the litter tray more effectively. The included litter scoop can be stored space-savingly in a special compartment in the top lid. The pull-out drawer makes it easy to clean the tray regularly and replace the litter completely.Clean the litter tray as required using warm water and a mild, pet-friendly cleaning product. Rinse the parts thoroughly and allow everything to dry completely before refilling the tray with cat litter.Check the paw-wiping grid regularly and remove any accumulated litter.Zoo Roco TipCats prefer a quiet, easily accessible litter tray area where they feel safe. Therefore, where possible, do not place the ‘ Curver ’ rattan litter tray directly next to food or water bowls, and avoid busy thoroughfares. If your cat has only ever used open litter trays, give them plenty of time to get used to the enclosed design. It is particularly practical to place a suitable cat litter mat in front of the entrance. This catches any stray litter and helps to keep the floor around the litter tray clean. Our tip for multi-cat households: If possible, provide one litter tray per cat plus an extra one.
