Royal Canin Cat Recovery Wet (12x195g)
For cats and dogs over 6 monthsAccording to the veterinary recommendation.Attention: RECOVERY FELINE Wet is a complete diet for dogs and cats to support the nutritional reset during convalescence or in feline hepatolipidosis. This diet has a high energy density, with highly digestible ingredients and essential nutrients.
Important information:
Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
High energy contentA high energy density allows the feeding of small meals and leads to a relief of the intestines (especially important for inappetent and weakened animals for a sufficient energy supply).Protection by antioxidantsThe patented antioxidant combination (Vit E, Vit C, Taurine, Lutein) can help protect the body's cells from attacks by aggressive metabolic products and support the immune system.High acceptanceIntensive care patients usually suffer from loss of appetite and weight loss. Due to the high acceptance in combination with an increased protein and energy density, weight maintenance is taken care of and weight loss is prevented.Probe feedingThe special texture makes it possible to use the food for feeding with probes* and for oral forced feeding (can be wound up with a syringe). * For nasopharyngeal probes with a smaller diameter of 10 Fr it is recommended to use Convalescence Support Instant or dilute RECOVERY FELINE Wet with warm water at a ratio of 1 : 1.

Royal Canin Cat Urinary S/O Dose (12x195g)
For adult catsAt least 4-12 weeks or until the urinary crystals/stones dissolve completely. To prevent recurrence, the diet should be continued for at least 6 months.
Attention: With older cats an examination of the kidney function should take place before regulation of the diet.
Increase of urine volumeThe formula helps to increase the volume of urine and the urinary tract is flushed more intensively. This counteracts the development of cystitis and the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate stones.Struvite stone dissolutionThe composition of URINARY S/O Chicken FELINE can helps to effectively dissolve struvite stones.Low RSS valueAn undersaturated urinary environment which counteracts the spontaneous crystallization of struvite and calcium oxalate.Urine dilutionBy increasing the volume of urine, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is counteracted.

Royal Canin Cat Sensitivity Control Chicken & Rice Wet (12x100g)
For adult catsIf a feed allergy or intolerance is suspected, the diet of the cat should be changed without a prior transitional phase. Dietetic treatment with Sensitivity Control can be continued for life.Sensitivity Control is recommended in cases of dermatoses with allergic background, including miliary dermatitis.
Selected protein sourcesChicken and rice are the only protein and carbohydrate sources of this diet. Both rarely play a role in feed allergies, minimizing the risk of dermatological and gastrointestinal symptoms.Skin barrierA combination of vitamins and amino acids can help reduce fluid loss across the skin and help strengthen the skin barrier.EPA/DHAEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help modulate inflammatory skin reactions and improve the integrity of the intestinal mucosa.Digestive safetyThe combination of highly digestible proteins (L.I.P.* proteins), prebiotics, dried sugar beet pulp, rice and fish oil supports maximum digestive safety.

Royal Canin Cat Urinary S/O High Dilution Dry
For adult catsFeeding for at least 5-12 weeks until the struvite urinary stones dissolve. To prevent recurrence, the diet should be continued for at least 6 months. After complete recovery (urine control) the diet can be continued or changed to another diet with the S/O index. Regular controls (urine, blood) should be arranged.Attention: In older cats an examination of the kidney function is recommended before administration of URINARY S/O HIGH DILUTION.
Struvite stone resolutionThe composition of URINARY S/O® helps to effectively dissolve struvite stones.Increase of urinary volumeThe formula helps to increase the volume of urine. Struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation is thus counteracted.Low RSS valueAn undersaturated urinary milieu is narrowing the spontaneous crystallization of sturvite and calcium oxalate.Protection of the bladder mucosaGlycosaminoglycans (GAG) are natural components of the bladder mucosa and can help protect against the penetration of bacteria and toxins.

For cats over 6 monthsThe individual target weight, feeding duration and quantities are determined according to the degree of overweight. The optimal weight reduction is 0.5 - 2% per week. An individual and tight control is important, because: Cats that lose weight too quickly are subject to the risk of hepatic lipidosis. After reaching the target / ideal weight, the body weight should continue to be controlled regularly, SATIETY WEIGHT MANAGEMENT Feline or VET CARE NUTRITION foods for castrated cats are suitable as follow-up feeding. the energy intake should in any case be max. 10% higher than in the last reduction phase. The reduction diet with SATIETY should start with the portion bags, so that the pet owner gets a feeling for the size of the ration. When using larger packaging units, it is recommended to weigh the daily ration.
SatiationA special fibre combination can increase the cat's feeling of fullness and help prevent spontaneous energy absorption.Balanced nutrientsA balanced content of nutrients, minerals and vitamins helps to avoid deficiency symptoms during calorie reduction.High protein contentA high protein content helps maintain muscle mass during weight loss.Essential fatty acidsAn optimal content of fatty acids supports skin and coat health.

Royal Canin Cat Hepatic Dry
For adult catsThe feeding period varies depending on the severity of the symptoms and the liver's ability to regenerate. Feeding for 6 months is recommended. In order to reduce postprandial liver stress, it is recommended to divide the daily portion into several small meals.
High energy contentThe high energy content meets the needs of adult cats and can help to relieve the stomach. High acceptanceA high palatability promotes spontaneous food intake, even with low appetite and picky animals.Reduced copper contentA reduced copper content in food can help to reduce copper storage in liver cells.Protection by antioxidantsA synergistic antioxidant combination (Vit. E, Vit. C, taurine, lutein) helps to neutralize free radicals.

Royal Canin Cat Diabetic Wet (12x100g)
For cats from 6 months after diagnosis of diabetes mellitusThe feeding of the diet should be maintained for life. Although diabetes mellitus may be reversible in cats, lifelong feeding and follow-up reduces the risk of relapse.Attention: The use of this diet food increases the insulin sensitivity of the cat. It is therefore strongly recommended to measure the glucose or fructosamine content in the blood before starting this diet and, if necessary, to adjust the cat to a lower insulin dose.
GlucomodulationThe special formula helps in the management of postprandial elevated blood sugar in cats with diabetes mellitus.High protein contentMaintaining muscle mass is essential in overweight cats with diabetes mellitus. Moderate energy contentThe moderate calorie content can help counteract excessive weight gain. Adjusted starch contentThe recipe contains a reduced proportion of starch.

Royal Canin Cat Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie Dry
For adult cats who tend to be overweight5 to 12 weeks until the struvite urinary stones dissolve. To prevent recurrence, the diet should be continued for at least 6 months. After complete recovery (urine control) OBESITY MANAGEMENT or SATIETY SUPPORT can be fed. If the cat is neutered and of ideal weight, products from the NEUTERED range are recommended.Animal owners should feed affected animals only URINARY S/O MODERATE CALORIE, otherwise the effectiveness of the product would be limited. URINARY S/O moist food is recommended for recurrent idiopathic cystitis.
Moderate calorie intakeThe calorie-reduced diet makes it possible for cats with a tendency to be overweight (e.g. after castration, pure housing) to limit weight gain.Increase in urine volumeThe formula helps to increase the volume of urine. Struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation is thus counteracted.Protection of the bladder mucosaGlycosaminoglycans (GAG) are natural components of the mucosa of the bladder and can protect against the penetration of bacteria and toxins.Struvite stone dissolutionThe composition of the food supports the release of Sruvite crystals and stones.

Royal Canin Cat Gastro Intestinal Wet (12x100g)
For cat puppies and adult cats. The duration of treatment varies depending on the extent of gastrointestinal symptoms. In chronic forms it can be fed for life. Cats prone to weight gain should be switched to GASTRO INTESTINAL MODERATE CALORIE for long-term feeding. In order to optimise digestive function, the daily ration should be divided into several meals.
High digestion safetyProteins with high digestibility reduce intestinal fermentation processes. Fermentable fibres (FOS) support a balanced intestinal flora.High energy contentThe high energy density makes it possible to feed small meals and relieves the strain on the intestines.High acceptanceCats with digestive disorders often suffer from lack of appetite and weight loss. High palatability promotes spontaneous food intake and thus recovery.EPA/DHAEicosapetenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help support intestinal health.

Royal Canin Cat Obesity Management Wet (12x100g)
For cats over 6 monthsThe individual target weight, the duration and the corresponding feed quantities are determined according to the degree of overweight. The optimal weight loss is 0.5 to 2 % per week. The daily ration should initially be based on a target weight reduction of approx. 15 % compared to the current weight. Cats with too fast weight loss are subject to the risk of a hepatic lipidosis.Attention: OBESITY MANAGEMENT FELINE Wet is a complete diet for cats to reduce overweight. This food has a reduced energy content.
Low energy densityThe formula allows an increased daily feed amount with reduced calorie content, which can increase the satiation effect.High protein contentThe increased protein content supports the saturation and the preservation of the muscle substance.Adapted starch contentA reduced starch content reduces the occurrence of postprandial hyperglycaemia.Protection of the jointsChondroitin sulphate (inhibits the enzymatic damage of chondrocytes) and glucosamine (stimulates the formation of new glycosaminoglycans) counteract degenerative joint diseases.

Royal Canin Cat Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie Wet (12x100g)
Especially for adult overweight/neutered cats.Treatment duration varies depending on the extent of gastrointestinal symptoms. In chronic forms it can be fed for life. In order to optimise digestive function, the daily ration should be divided between several meals.GASTRO INTESTINAL MODERATE CALORIE can be used lifelong, especially in cases of chronic pancreatitis in cats.
High digestion safetyProteins with high digestibility reduce intestinal fermentation processes. Fermentable fibres (FOS) support a balanced intestinal flora.Moderate energyThe moderate fat content allows (long-term) use in cats with a tendency to gain weight.High acceptanceA high palatability promotes spontaneous food intake and thus recovery, long-term use is possible through a reduced energy content.EPA/DHAEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help support intestinal health.

Further information
GASTRO INTESTINAL MODERATE CALORIE can be used for life for cats, especially in cases of chronic pancreatitis. Feeding a food with the S/O index creates a urinary environment that counteracts the (new) formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.
