Royal Canin Cat Hepatic Dry
For adult cats
The feeding period varies depending on the severity of the symptoms and the liver's ability to regenerate. Feeding for 6 months is recommended. In order to reduce postprandial liver stress, it is recommended to divide the daily portion into several small meals.
Important information:
- Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
- During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
High energy content
The high energy content meets the needs of adult cats and can help to relieve the stomach.
High acceptance
A high palatability promotes spontaneous food intake, even with low appetite and picky animals.
Reduced copper content
A reduced copper content in food can help to reduce copper storage in liver cells.
Protection by antioxidants
A synergistic antioxidant combination (Vit. E, Vit. C, taurine, lutein) helps to neutralize free radicals.

Further information
Key points in the dietary therapy of liver diseases: Prevent malnutrition (high energy, optimal protein, mineral and vitamin supply), regulation of liver cell structure (highly digestible proteins, L-carnitine), minimize liver dysfunctions (optimal content of highly digestible proteins, vegetable protein sources, pH acidification in the intestine, sodium restriction).
