One does not see, one does not hear and one does not speak. Originally, the three monkeys named Mizaru (see no evil), Kikazaru (hear no evil) and Iwazaru (speak no evil) come from a Japanese proverb based on one of Confucius's teachings. Nowadays, the three monkeys are known as Minai, Kikanai and Iwanai. Over the centuries, they have become a symbol of moral courage and are well-known lucky charms. The three statues are ideal for decorating aquariums and terrariums. They also look good on a desk and, according to traditional Japanese belief, even bring good luck to you and your animals!
