ReptiPlanet Natural Habitat SAND terrarium substrates create real conditions found in the desert regions of our planet.
Based on the findings of previous ReptiPlanet expeditions observing reptiles and amphibians around the world, ReptiPlanet drew inspiration from the real environment to develop a unique substrate blend. Thus, ReptiPlanet has managed to define a mixture that most closely matches the natural operations of these animals.

The substrate Natural Habitat SAND stimulates natural behavior (hunting, protection from predators or temperature regulation) or when laying eggs. Natural Habitat SAND substrate is ideal for breeding many species of reptiles and amphibians in our terrariums. Thanks to the mineralized substances, excellent heat conduction properties, natural origin without the addition of dyes, the natural instincts (burying, laying eggs) are encouraged.
