A part of the card will change from white to purple, depending on the intensity of discolouration you can tell the strength of your UV rays. According to the manufacturer, this card can be used up to 500 times. Warning! Replace your UV-lamp at least yearly if not more often, this card should be used as an indicator to do so.

The Reptile Jungle Lamp Set with transformer waterproof low voltage lamp perfect for rainforest vivariums This special low voltage lamp is waterproof as to the IP68 standard, making it perfect for rainforest vivariums and turtle tanks where the use of normal, not humidity protected porcelain lampholders is risky or even not allowed. The Jungle Lamp is a 12V luminaire which requires a halogen transformer for operation.
