Heizlampen-Sicherheitskäfige tragen dazu bei, das Verbrennungsrisiko zu verringern, und sind daher ein unverzichtbares Zubehör für alle Heizlampen, die in einem Terrarium verwendet werden. Der Käfig verfügt über eine federnde Tür an der Unterseite, die einen einfachen Lampenwechsel ermöglicht, sowie über flache Ösen zur Befestigung von Schrauben. Der Käfig hat ausserdem eine Öffnung für das Stromkabel, sodass alles ordentlich und aufgeräumt bleibt. Denken Sie daran, immer ein geeignetes Thermostat-Regelsystem mit Heizsystem und Käfig zu verwenden, um sowohl das Tier als auch den Halter zu schützen.

Kommerzielle Abdeckungen/Lampenkäfige können den Lichtfluss im Neuzustand um 40 % reduzieren, LampGuardPro reduziert dies auf etwa 15 % der gesamten Lichtenergie und bleibt danach recht stabil. LampGuardPro ist einfach zu montieren und benötigt nur 4 geeignete Schrauben. Es wurde auch mit Scharnieren auf beiden Seiten ausgestattet, so dass nur 2 Schrauben entfernt werden müssen, um einen schnellen und einfachen Lampenwechsel zu ermöglichen.. In den Längen 51 cm, 66 cm, 81 cm, 96 cm  erhältlich. Dieser Lampenschutz ist rostbeständig und kann bei Bedarf im Rahmen der monatlichen Pflege abgewischt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass so viel Licht wie möglich durch das Gitter auf die Tiere gelangt. LampGuardPro wurde auch mit mehreren Kabeleingangspunkten entwickelt. Das bedeutet, dass LampGuardPro mit reflektierten T8- und HO-T5-Lampen mit separaten Controllern und unserem HO-T5-Verbindungssystem "ProT5" UV-B verwendet werden kann. To test this hold the card approximately 5 cm under the lamp and wait 10 seconds. A part of the card will change from white to purple, depending on the intensity of discolouration you can tell the strength of your UV rays. According to the manufacturer, this card can be used up to 500 times. Warning! Replace your UV-lamp at least yearly if not more often, this card should be used as an indicator to do so.

Lucky Reptile - Thermo Socket Plus Reflector These high quality reflector lamps have an E27 porcelain lampholder, a high quality steel reflector, wire mesh protector and a silicon power lead. steel reflector ready for use suitable for light bulbs up to 300W different reflector sizes available The steel reflector focusses the light and acts as sight protection, preventing from being blinded by the light. Lucky Reptile Bright Control PROAn electronic ballast for metal halide lampsThe Bright Control PRO is an electronic ballast designed for optimal use with the Bright Sun UV lamps.An electronic ballast should be preferred over an electromagnetic ballast as it is more efficient and increases the lamp life. It ensures a smoother operation and increases the effectiveness of the lamp. The spectrum of metal halide lamps will stay fairly constant during its life cycle when using electronic ballasts. Metal halide lamps that are used with an electromagnetic ballasts normally show significant changes in their spectrum especially at their end of life. Only an electronic ballast like the Bright Control PRO can ensure the best light quality.In addition the Bright Control PRO will automatically shut off broken or not igniting lamps for safety reasons. For the Bright Sun UV lamp we recommend the use of the electronic Bright Control PRO over the conventional Bright Control gear box to ensure best possible operation.
