Royal Canin Dog Hepatic Wet
For adult dogs
The duration of feeding varies depending on the severity of the symptoms and the liver's ability to regenerate. Lifelong use may be necessary in chronic liver diseases. In order to reduce postprandial liver stress, it is recommended to divide the daily portion into several small meals.
Important information:
- Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
- During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Reduced copper content
The low copper and high zinc content limit copper accumulation in liver cells and help prevent liver cell degeneration.
Protection by antioxidants
A synergistic antioxidant combination (Vit. E, Vit. C, taurine, lutein) can protect the body cells from attacks by aggressive metabolic products.
Electrolyte balance
A reduced sodium intake counteracts high blood pressure and extravascular fluid loss.
High energy content
The high energy density (1,546 kcal/kg original substance) allows the feeding of small portions and leads to relief of the intestine.
