Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Small Dog Dry
For dogs up to 10 kg body weight
5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals or stones dissolve. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urine examination.
Attention: In older dogs, an examination of renal function is recommended before administering URINARY S/O SMALL DOG.
Important information:
- Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
- During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Struvite dissolution
The composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals and stones.
Low RSS value
Helps to reduce the struvite and oxalate crystal forming ions in the urine (undersaturation).
Urine dilution
By increasing the volume of urine, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is counteracted.
Tartar prophylaxis
Calcium scavengers can help counteract the development of tartar. The croquette has a mechanical abrasion effect on plaque and tartar.
