Product information "Dog Urinary S/O Small Dog Dry"

Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Small Dog Dry

For dogs up to 10 kg body weight
5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals or stones dissolve. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urine examination.

Attention: In older dogs, an examination of renal function is recommended before administering URINARY S/O SMALL DOG.

Important information:

  • Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
  • During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
  • If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.

Struvite dissolution
The composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals and stones.

Low RSS value
Helps to reduce the struvite and oxalate crystal forming ions in the urine (undersaturation).

Urine dilution
By increasing the volume of urine, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is counteracted.

Tartar prophylaxis
Calcium scavengers can help counteract the development of tartar. The croquette has a mechanical abrasion effect on plaque and tartar.

Dog Hepatic Dry
Gewicht: 1.5kg
Royal Canin Dog Hepatic Dry For adult dogsThe duration of feeding varies depending on the severity of the symptoms and the liver's ability to regenerate. Lifelong use may be necessary in chronic liver diseases. In order to reduce postprandial liver stress, it is recommended to divide the daily portion into several small meals. Important information: Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian. During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups. If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately. Vegetable proteinsHighly digestible vegetable protein (soy protein isolate) is very well tolerated by dogs with hepatic encephalopathy and helps to counteract hyperammonemia.Reduced copper contentThe low copper and high zinc content limit copper storage in liver cells and help prevent liver cell degeneration.Protection by antioxidantsA synergistic antioxidant combination (Vit. E, Vit. C, taurine, lutein) can protect the body cells from attacks by aggressive metabolic products.High energy contentThe provision of energy from fat in combination with a moderately reduced content of high-quality protein reduces protein degradation and thus minimizes the risk or progression of hepatic encephalopathy. Dog Hypoallergenic Dry
Gewicht: 2kg
Royal Canin Dog Hypoallergenic Dry If a feed allergy or intolerance is suspected, the diet of the dog should be changed, immediately and without a transition period. Dietetic treatment should then be continued for the rest of the dog's life. Important information: Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian. During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups. If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately. Hydrolysed proteinsSoy protein hydrolysate consists of peptides with a low molecular weight. It is therefore highly digestible and only slightly allergenic.Skin barrierThe very high levels of biotin, niazine and pantothenic acid in combination with a zinc-linolenic acid mixture help to reduce fluid loss through the skin and strengthen its barrier effect.EPA/DHAEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help modulate inflammatory skin reactions.High digestive safetyThe combination of fermentable fibres (beet pulp, FOS) with zeolite promotes a balanced intestinal flora and also supports the health of the intestinal mucosa. This feed contains no lactose and is gluten-free. Dog Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie Dry
Gewicht: 1.5kg
Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie Dry For dogs that tend to be overweight5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals or stones dissolve. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urine examination.Attention: In older dogs, an examination of renal function is recommended before URINARY S/O MODERATE CALORIE is administered. Important information: Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian. During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups. If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately. Struvite dissolutionThe composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals and stones.Moderate energyThe adapted energy content helps dogs with a tendency to be overweight (after castration, little exercise, race conditioned) to maintain their ideal weight.Urine dilutionBy increasing the volume of urine, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is reduced.Low RSS valueHelps to reduce the struvite and oxalate crystal forming ions in the urine (undersaturation). Dog Gastro Intestinal Dry
Gewicht: 2kg
Royal Canin Dog Gastro Intestinal Dry For adult dogsThe optimal duration of treatment varies depending on the extent of the gastrointestinal symptoms. In the case of chronic forms of the disease, lifelong further treatment may be necessary. Dogs that tend to gain weight should be switched to GASTRO INTESTINAL MODERATE CALORIE for long-term feeding. To optimise the digestive function, the daily ration should be divided into several meals.Fermentable fibres (beet pulp, FOS) support the intestinal motor function and the microflora of the intestine. Mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) stimulate the local immune system of the intestine (IgA). Important information: Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian. During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups. If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately. High digestion safetyProteins with high digestibility reduce intestinal fermentation processes. Fermentable fibres (FOS) support a balanced intestinal flora.High energy contentThe high energy density makes it possible to feed small meals and relieves the strain on the intestines.High acceptanceDogs with digestive disorders often suffer from low appetite and weight loss. High palatability promotes spontaneous food intake and thus recovery.EPA/DHAEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help reduce inflammatory processes in the intestine.
