Product information "Dog Urinary S/O Dry"

Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Dry

For dogs over 1 year
5 to 12 weeks, or until the urinary crystals/stones dissolve. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urine examination.

Attention: In older dogs, an examination of renal function is recommended before URINARY S/O CANINE is administered.

Important information:

  • Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
  • During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
  • If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.

Struvite stone resolution
The composition of URINARY S/O helps to effectively dissolve struvite stones.

Increase of urine volume
The formula helps to increase the volume of urine. A struvite and/or calcium oxalate stone formation is thus counteracted.

Low RSS value
An undersaturated urinary environment which counteracts the spontaneous crystallization of struvite and calcium oxalate.

Low magnesium content
Magnesium is a main component of struvite stones (ammonium magnesium phosphate).

L-Tryptophan is a precursor of serotonin (neurotransmitter, regulation of appetite, anxiety, sleep).Excellent tolerabilityProteins with highest digestibility in the small intestine (L.I.P - low indigestible protein) lead to less undigested proteins in the large intestine. In combination with beet pulp and fish oil, intestinal health is supported.Strengthening the natural skin barrierThe synergistic active ingredient complex of vitamins and amino acids strengthens the natural skin barrier by increasing the production of ceramides (skin lipids) to protect against external influences, the penetration of allergens and skin dehydration.Optimal oral and dental hygieneThe croquette has a mechanical abrasion effect on dental plaque. In addition, sodium triphosphates of the formula bind calcium contained in the saliva, which is therefore not available for tartar formation.
