JBL Clearol - Water clarifier for crystal clear water
JBL Clearol removes all types of turbidity such as floating algae or bacterial turbidity.
- Eliminates all types of turbidity that are not captured by the filter.
- Both floating algae (green turbidity) and bacterial turbidity (whitish turbidity) or the finest floating particles are flocculated and then removed from the filter.
- Only use at pH values above 6 and KH values above 5° dKH!
Application
Add the required dose of JBL Clearol to the aquarium at a point with sufficient water movement. The turbid matter is combined into larger units (coagulates) and sinks to the bottom or is retained by the filter. Siphon off turbid matter that has sunk to the bottom and clean the filter more frequently.

Ammonia and nitrite are toxic to fish. Normally, the biology and the filter should manage to keep the values within a problem-free range. This biological balance can be disturbed by medication, overfeeding and/or too many fish, resulting in problematic concentrations of the toxins mentioned. Immediate action is essential to prevent losses! By adding JBL Detoxol, the toxins are safely and quickly neutralized within 10 minutes and no longer pose a danger. In addition, the causes of the toxins should be identified and eliminated. Differences to other products: Water conditioner such as JBL Biotopol: The water conditioner also neutralizes chlorine & chloramine as well as heavy metals. Many aquarists mistakenly believe that their tap water is never chlorinated. But be careful: as soon as waterworks work on the pipe system, it is then heavily chlorinated for disinfection.
