Ammonia and nitrite are toxic to fish. Normally, the biology and the filter should manage to keep the values within a problem-free range. This biological balance can be disturbed by medication, overfeeding and/or too many fish, resulting in problematic concentrations of the toxins mentioned. ApplicationAdd the required dose of JBL Clearol to the aquarium at a point with sufficient water movement. The turbid matter is combined into larger units (coagulates) and sinks to the bottom or is retained by the filter. Siphon off turbid matter that has sunk to the bottom and clean the filter more frequently.
