Wildcat VetLine Urinary Turkey
WILDCAT VetLine Urinary Turkey with 62 % turkey. Grain-free wet diet food designed to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence. Available in 85 g and 200 g packs.
WILDCAT VetLine Adult Urinary Turkey is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with certain lower urinary tract conditions. The balanced formula supports the dissolution of struvite stones and helps to reduce the risk of struvite stones forming again.
Urinary tract problems are among the more common health issues in cats. The term FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) covers various conditions affecting the lower urinary tract. These include, for example, cystitis, urinary crystals and urinary stones.
Struvite crystals and struvite stones, which consist of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate, are particularly common. Their formation is promoted, amongst other things, by an alkaline urine pH.
The specially formulated recipe of WILDCAT VetLine Urinary Turkey contains adjusted amounts of magnesium and phosphorus. In addition, the DL-methionine it contains ensures targeted acidification of the urine. This allows existing struvite stones to dissolve under suitable conditions and reduces the risk of them reforming.
With 62 % turkey as the main ingredient, this wet food provides high-quality animal proteins and a hearty flavour. Turkey supplies important amino acids and supports the nutritional needs of adult cats.
The grain-free formula also contains sweet potatoes, cranberries, Jerusalem artichoke, alfalfa and stinging nettle. The composition is supplemented with the prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which can support a balanced gut flora.
With a moisture content of 78 % the wet food also contributes to daily water intake. Adequate fluid intake is particularly important for cats with urinary tract problems, as it helps to dilute the urine.
WILDCAT VetLine Urinary was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The recipe is free from cereals, maize, soya and artificial flavour enhancers.
The diet wet food is available in convenient 85 g and 200 g sizes and allows portioning tailored to your cat’s needs.

Instructions for use
WILDCAT VetLine Adult Urinary Turkey is a complete dietetic food for adult cats designed to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence.
Only use this diet food on the advice of a vet. Not all urinary tract problems and types of urinary stones respond to urinary acidification. The cause of the symptoms should therefore be diagnosed by a vet before feeding this food.
The actual amount of food depends on your cat’s age, activity level, body weight and state of health. Adjust the portion size as necessary in consultation with your vet.
Recommended duration of use
- For the dissolution of struvite stones, usually 5–12 weeks
- To reduce the recurrence of struvite stones, initially for up to 6 months
- Before extending the duration of feeding, veterinary advice should be sought again
Changing food
- Unless otherwise recommended by your vet, the switch to the new food should be made gradually over a period of around 14 days
- In the case of acute urinary tract conditions, an immediate change in diet may be necessary. In this case, follow your vet’s instructions
Important notes
- Not suitable for kittens
- Not suitable for pregnant or nursing cats
- Do not use in cases of chronic renal failure
- Do not use in cases of heart failure
- Not suitable for reducing the formation of calcium oxalate stones
- Do not combine with other urinary acidifying products without veterinary advice
- Provide fresh drinking water at all times
- Store opened packs in the fridge and feed promptly
If your cat repeatedly tries to urinate but little or no urine is passed, this may be a veterinary emergency. Seek immediate treatment at a veterinary practice or clinic.
Zoo Roco Tip
Cats naturally tend to drink very little. Adequate fluid intake is therefore particularly important for cats with urinary tract problems.
WILDCAT VetLine Urinary Turkey contains 78 % moisture and can therefore help to increase daily water intake via the food.
Provide your cat with several water bowls in quiet places. Many cats prefer to drink when the water is not right next to their food or litter tray.
A drinking fountain can also help to encourage water intake. Some cats prefer running water and therefore drink more frequently.
You should also ensure that the litter tray is kept clean and that the environment is as stress-free as possible. Stress can contribute to various urinary tract problems in cats.
It is particularly important that a urinary diet is tailored to the specific condition present. Struvite stones and calcium oxalate stones require different nutritional management approaches.
We therefore recommend having the success of the treatment monitored regularly through veterinary urine tests.
