The special reflector concentrates light and heat extremely effectively and radiates them forwards. This achieves a good light and heat yield in the light focus, which is comparable with normal 230V spotlights of the same wattage. The lamps are not comparable with low-voltage halogen lamps from the DIY store. These have so-called cold light reflectors and emit the heat to the rear, where it does not benefit the animals. Such cold light lamps are unsuitable for the Lucky Reptile Thermo Socket LV and Jungle Lamp, as they emit heat to the rear and overheat the lights. Only use Halogen Sun LV lamps for these.
