In 85 g and 200 g.WILDCAT VetLine Adult Hypoallergenic Salmon is a specially developed complete dietetic food for adult cats with food intolerances. The carefully balanced formula is intended to reduce symptoms of raw material and nutrient intolerance and at the same time supports skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss.Food intolerances can manifest themselves in different ways in cats. Frequent scratching, excessive grooming, skin redness, coat problems or recurring digestive complaints can be indications of an intolerance to certain food ingredients.A distinction is made between food allergies and food intolerances. In the case of an allergy, the immune system reacts to certain proteins. In the case of an intolerance, similar complaints can occur without the immune system being involved. The formula of WILDCAT VetLine Hypoallergenic Salmon contains 60 % salmon as the sole source of animal protein. By specifically selecting a single animal protein source, the diet can be kept particularly clear. This is especially important for cats with known intolerances or as part of a veterinary-supervised elimination diet.As a selected source of carbohydrates, the wet food contains 4 % sweet potatoes. The grain-free formula is limited to a few, clearly defined ingredients and thus makes it easier to control daily feeding.Salmon provides high-quality animal protein as well as valuable omega-3 fatty acids. EPA and DHA in particular play an important role in normal skin function. Together with the omega-6 fatty acids it contains, they can support the skin barrier and normal coat condition. With a crude protein content of 9,7 % and a fat content of 8,2 %, the wet food offers a balanced nutrient supply for adult cats. The formula is supplemented by Jerusalem artichoke, alfalfa, salmon oil, sunflower oil and algae. The prebiotic fibres it contains, mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructooligosaccharides (FOS), can support a balanced intestinal flora and contribute to normal digestive function.Another advantage is the moisture content of 76 %, which contributes to daily fluid intake. Cats in particular, which naturally drink little, can benefit from the additional water intake through the wet food.WILDCAT VetLine Hypoallergenic was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The formula is grain-free and does not contain added maize, gluten, soya or artificial flavour enhancers. The diet wet food is available in the practical sizes 85 g and 200 g. This means the wet food can be used as part of a veterinary-supervised elimination diet, provided salmon is suitable for the affected cat.Keep a feeding diary during an elimination diet. Note which foods your cat receives and how itching, coat, skin and digestion develop.Avoid additional treats, food samples or other snacks during this time that are not expressly part of the nutrition plan.If you would like to combine WILDCAT VetLine Hypoallergenic as a wet food with a suitable dry food, the entire list of ingredients of both products should be checked. The individual ingredients are listed specifically so that cat owners can understand which components are contained in the food. This is particularly important when specifically feeding cats with food intolerances. The crude protein content of 32 % supports the daily protein supply, whilst the fat content of 15 % enables an energy intake tailored to requirements.Salmon oil and sunflower oil provide essential fatty acids. In particular, the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA as well as the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid are important for normal skin function. Wildcat VetLine Renal ChickenWildcat VetLine Renal Chicken. Grain-free diet dry food to support kidney function in cats. With reduced protein and phosphorus content. Available in 400 g and 3 kg packs.Wildcat VetLine Adult Renal Chicken is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency. The carefully balanced formula supports kidney function and may also help to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate and urate stones. The kidneys perform vital functions in your cat’s body. They filter metabolic waste products from the blood, regulate water and electrolyte balance, and help maintain a balanced mineral balance. In chronic kidney failure, this function gradually declines. A targeted diet can help to relieve the strain on the kidneys and support the wellbeing of affected cats. The Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken formula is characterised by a limited protein content and reduced phosphorus and sodium levels. This means the food is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of cats with impaired kidney function.Controlled protein intake is intended to limit the formation of nitrogenous metabolic by-products. At the same time, a reduced phosphorus content is particularly important, as cats with chronic kidney disease are often no longer able to excrete excess phosphorus adequately. The dry food contains chicken as a selected source of animal protein. The tasty recipe with chicken and sweet potatoes is designed to encourage good palatability. This is particularly important for cats with kidney disease, as they often suffer from a reduced appetite.Another distinctive feature is the inclusion of potassium citrate, which has urine-alkalising properties. By influencing the pH of the urine, it can help to reduce the risk of calcium oxalate stones forming. The specially formulated composition also takes into account the nutritional requirements associated with certain disorders of uric acid metabolism. The grain-free formula also contains the prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). These can support a balanced gut flora and contribute to normal digestive function.Wildcat VetLine Renal was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. The formula contains no added maize, gluten, soya or flavour enhancers. The diet dry food is available in handy 400 g and 3 kg packs. It is not only crucial to ensure an appropriate nutritional composition, but also that the cat eats enough and drinks sufficient fluids.Wildcat VetLine Renal Chicken contains selected proteins and has a reduced phosphorus and sodium content. This means that the dry food can provide nutritional support for veterinary treatment of chronic renal failure. If your cat is drinking very little, you can moisten the dry food with a little lukewarm water. Allow the food to soak for a short while and remove any uneaten leftovers promptly.Alternatively, combining this with a suitable renal wet food may be advisable. However, please discuss any mixed feeding regime with your vet to ensure that the total daily ration continues to meet the specific requirements of a renal diet.Provide several water stations in quiet areas. Many cats prefer fresh water that is not placed directly next to their food or litter tray. A cat fountain can also help to encourage water intake.Weigh your cat regularly and keep an eye out for changes in appetite, drinking habits and body weight. Even slight weight loss can be significant in cats with kidney disease.Avoid giving additional phosphorus-rich snacks or standard cat food unless these have been expressly agreed with the treating veterinary practice.Regular veterinary check-ups help to tailor the diet to the individual progression of the kidney disease.

Wildcat VetLine Urinary ChickenWildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken. Grain-free dietary dry food for adult cats to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence. Available in 400 g and 3 kg.Wildcat VetLine Adult Urinary Chicken is a specially formulated complete dietetic food for adult cats with certain lower urinary tract conditions. The balanced formulation supports the dissolution of struvite stones and helps to reduce the risk of struvite stones forming again.Urinary tract problems are relatively common in cats. The term FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) covers a range of conditions affecting the lower urinary tract. These include, amongst others, cystitis, urinary crystals and urinary stones. Symptoms may include a frequent urge to urinate, pain when urinating or sudden loss of bladder control.Struvite crystals and struvite stones are particularly common. These consist of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate. An excessively high, alkaline urine pH can promote their formation. The special formulation of Wildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken has urine-acidifying properties. The urine-acidifying agents it contains – DL-methionine and ammonium chloride – help to specifically lower the pH of the urine. Under suitable conditions, this can dissolve existing struvite stones and make it more difficult for them to reform.Another important component of the formulation is the adjusted magnesium and phosphorus content. The controlled supply of minerals is intended to help limit the formation of struvite crystals and reduce the risk of recurrent urinary stone problems. This dry food contains chicken as its main animal ingredient. Chicken provides valuable proteins and essential amino acids, which contribute to a diet tailored to the nutritional needs of adult cats. The grain-free formula is tailored to the specific nutritional needs of cats with struvite problems. In addition, the food contains the prebiotic fibres mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which can support a balanced gut flora and normal digestive function.Wildcat VetLine Urinary was developed in collaboration with vets and nutritionists. This is a veterinary emergency. Seek immediate treatment at a veterinary practice or clinic.Zoo Roco TipAdequate water intake is one of the most important measures for cats with urinary tract problems. As cats naturally tend to drink very little, their urine can become highly concentrated. Under certain conditions, this increases the risk of urinary crystals and stones forming.Wildcat VetLine Urinary Chicken has urine-acidifying properties and contains an adjusted mineral content. This enables the dry food to provide nutritional support for veterinary treatment of struvite stones.Provide your cat with several water bowls in different, quiet locations. Many cats prefer drinking spots that are not right next to their food or litter tray.A cat fountain can also help encourage your cat to drink more frequently. For cats that drink very little, supplementing their diet with a suitable urinary wet food may be advisable. However, please consult your vet before introducing a mixed diet to ensure that the dietary properties of the total daily ration are maintained. You should also ensure there are plenty of clean litter trays and that the environment is as stress-free as possible. Stress can contribute to certain lower urinary tract conditions.Struvite stones and calcium oxalate stones require different nutritional management strategies. A diet designed to acidify the urine, such as Wildcat VetLine Urinary, is therefore not suitable for every type of urinary stone. We recommend having the success of the treatment checked regularly through veterinary urine tests.
