Exo Terra PTC Heat Mat - Terrarium heating mat for reptiles, amphibians & invertebratesThe Exo Terra PTC Heat Mat (from 4W to 24W) is the ideal heating solution for all glass terrariums and ensures a constant, safe and energy-efficient heat supply. Thanks to modern PTC carbon fiber technology , it heats up quickly, automatically regulates its maximum temperature and distributes the heat particularly evenly.Sizes: 4 watts - 18 x 10 cm8 watts - 20 x 15 cm16 watts - 30 x 20 cm24 watts - 45 x 20 cmOptimum warmth for terrarium animalsThe heating mat provides a conductive heat source that increases the ambient air temperature and creates a natural heat gradient - perfect for supporting thermoregulation in reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. This promotes metabolism, appetite, digestion and activity and makes a decisive contribution to the well-being of the animals.Safe, efficient and easy to install.Ideal for all glass terrariumsConstant heat source for day & nightSelf-regulating PTC technology for maximum safetyFast heating with even heat distributionSelf-adhesive backing for permanent hold and optimum heat transferCan be perfectly combined with Exo Terra Basking Spots or a thermostat for precise temperature zonesFor a species-appropriate terrarium environmentThe Exo Terra Heat Mat imitates sun-warmed surfaces found in nature and creates ideal conditions for an active, healthy lifestyle for your terrarium animals.Note: Make sure you create enough cool areas in the terrarium. This will give your animals different temperature zones that they can use to maintain an optimum body temperature.

Repto Smart Easy Thermostat – Terrarium Temperature ControllerSafer heating in the terrarium: The Repto Smart Easy Thermostat controls heating mats, heat lamps and radiant heaters, offers day/night modes and alerts you if the temperature is too high or too low.The Repto Smart Easy Thermostat is a practical temperature controller for terrariums and helps you create a stable climate for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. It is suitable for controlling heating mats, heat lamps or radiant heaters and helps to reliably maintain the desired temperature in the terrarium. The temperature sensor measures the heat inside the terrarium. The connected heating device is automatically switched on or off depending on the set temperature. This allows you to minimise temperature fluctuations and provide your animals with a better-controlled environment. The day and night modes are particularly useful. These allow you to set different temperatures for daytime and night-time, which more closely mimics the natural temperature drop found in many habitats. In addition, the thermostat features alerts for temperatures that are too high or too low, as well as a switchable 12/24-hour clock. It can also be mounted using suction cups or screws.Your benefits at a glanceThermostat for temperature control in the terrariumSuitable for heating mats, heat lamps and radiant heatersWith a temperature probe for precise measurementDay and night modes for different temperaturesWarning function for excessively high or low temperatures12/24-hour display adjustableCan be fixed using suction cups or screwsSupports a controlled terrarium climateIdeal for many reptiles, amphibians and invertebratesEasy to operate via the display and buttonsSize:- 70 mm x 193 mm x 380 mmDirections for usePlace the temperature sensor at the point in the terrarium where the temperature is to be reliably monitored. Connect the heater to the thermostat and set the desired day and night temperatures. You should also check the temperature regularly with a separate thermometer, particularly after the initial set-up or following any changes to the terrarium.Zoo Roco TipFor reptiles, it is not only the average temperature that is important, but also an appropriate temperature gradient within the terrarium. Position heat sources so that a temperature gradient is created. This allows your pet to make a Wahl between warmer and cooler areas.

HeatStrip II from SolarRaptorWith the HeatStrip from SolarRaptor, a warm breeze blows through your terrarium - putting an end to misted-up windows.Easy installation due to self-adhesive backingAir warmer/window heaterNo more misted up windowsPrevents cold draughtsThe problem of draughts in terrariums is often underestimated: especially with large ventilation areas, it can quickly become too draughty for the animals because colder air is constantly flowing in. Then they only stay directly under the heaters and are thus restricted in their natural behaviour. In the worst cases, this can even lead to respiratory diseases. The SolarRaptor HeatStrip II is a unique heating system. Terrarium owners usually mount the self-adhesive rod directly on the front air inlet of their terrarium. This heats the incoming air and increases the air temperature in the entire terrarium. In addition, the so-called "chimney effect" ensures an overall improved air exchange. The Heatstrip thus ensures a constant supply of fresh and warm air and improves the climate for both the animals and the plants in the terrarium. For owners of a rainforest terrarium, the HeatStrip has another advantage: Rainforest terrariums have high humidity, which is usually produced with the help of sprinkler systems or ultrasonic foggers, so the windows often mist up. This is not only unpleasant for the animals, but also a nuisance for the reptile or amphibian keeper. As the heat source of the HeatStrip is located directly on the front pane, condensation of humidity on the pane is effectively counteracted. This means no misted-up windows and thus always a clear view of the animals. Please note: A DRV power supply unit is required for operation - please order separately.Variants:450mm / 8 Watt750mm / 12 Watt950mm / 16 Watt
