The main differences are a real-time clock and two temperature ranges so that different temperatures can be set for day and night. Switching between day/night operation is time-controlled. In contrast to the Thermo Control II, the time can be set in units of minutes for the timer on this model. There are two possible ON/OFF times. In addition, the device can be switched between heating and cooling mode, e.g. for operating fans. When the set temperature is reached, the thermostat switches on instead of off.
