JBL ProHaru universal is ready to use:
80 ml tube: Open the tube with the pin located in the lid, screw on the dosage nozzle and cut to the required length. Squeeze the end of the tube to release contents.
The area to be bonded must be clean and free of dust or grease. If used underwater, the area must be free of any coating such as biofilm, algae etc. For large areas, the adhesive needs to be applied in several parallel strips. When used underwater, bonding strength may be lessthan on dry surfaces. Hardening occurs as a result of humidity at room temperature. JBL ProHaru universal gradually hardens from the outside to the inside. At low temperatures and/or low humidity, the hardening process takes considerably longer. Once opened, packs harden gradually and should therefore be tightly closed after use and used within a few weeks.

Dort herrschen gleichförmige Temperaturen und eine etwas höhere Luft- bzw. Substratfeuchte. Damit Landschildkröten diesem natürlichen Verhalten auch im Terrarium nachgehen können, wurde dieses Spezialsubstrat in Zusammenarbeit mit namhaften Schildkrötenzüchtern und zoologischen Einrichtungen entwickelt.
Lucky Reptile Tortoise Bedding hält die Feuchtigkeit, bleibt dabei trittstabil, trotzdem locker und schimmelt nicht. Es ist nicht nur geruchsneutral, sondern bindet Gerüche aktiv. Durch seine weiche, faserreiche Struktur und den Verzicht auf Sand schadet es auch nicht, falls es mal versehentlich mit gefressen wird und kommt der gesunden Panzerentwicklung der Schildkröten zugute. Stumpfe, abgeriebene Panzer werden dadurch vermieden.
Durch seine luftige und lockere Struktur isoliert Tortoise Bedding und federt Temperaturschwankungen ab, wenn die Tiere vergraben sind. Zugesetzte natürliche Tonmineralien sorgen für eine gleichbleibende Substratfeuchte, weshalb es von Landschildkröten auch gerne als Eiablagesubstrat angenommen wird. Aus den gleichen Gründen ist es ein hervorragendes Überwinterungssubstrat - nicht nur im Freilandterrarium! Der pH-Wert wurde speziell auf die Bedürfnisse von Schildkröten eingestellt und es wurde auf jegliche Zusätze von Düngern oder anderen chemischen Zusätzen verzichtet. Damit ist es sogar als natürliches Brutsubstrat geeignet und ohne Probleme kompostierbar.
