Our mangrove roots are the ideal natural product for aquariums and terrariums. Each root is unique and gives your set-up an authentic, natural look. The pictures serve as examples, as each root looks slightly different.

The unusual growth forms offer fish, shrimps and reptiles a safe hiding place and promote a healthy climate. As a natural product, size and shape vary slightly, so your tank will always look individual and lively. Mangrove wood is robust, durable and supports the water quality. The wood must be soaked in water before use, otherwise it will float. The wood can also be weighted down with a stone or glued to a slate plate to prevent it from floating. The humic acid in the wood can cause the aquarium water to turn brown, but this is only a visual nuisance and poses no danger to the living organisms.
