Black peat sod from Petfactory

Black peat sods are compact blocks of black peat, a highly decomposed, humus-rich peat. They are often used in aquariums and terrariums, especially in tropical terrariums.

Due to their ability to store moisture, they help to stabilize the climate in the terrarium and are of completely natural origin. They can be planted with mosses and ferns. Another advantage of black peat sods is that they are easy to work with using standard tools such as saws, drills or files. This enables the individual design of back or side walls as well as the creation of terraces or hilly landscapes in the terrarium. They are also ideal for tying up bromeliads or orchids.

This is a natural product, which is why not every piece is identical.
