Durch die Regelung der Luftzufuhr ist eine Gesamtfilterleistung von ca. 400 L/h bis über 2.500 L/h regelbar. Diese Leistung kann auch wirklich gemessen werden. Nicht wie bei manchen Topffiltern etc., wo die Leistung durch Filtermaterial und Höhenunterschied rapide absinken kann
Jeder Hochleistungs-Luftheber kann durch die Regelung der Luftzufuhr in dem sinnvollen Bereich von ca. 300L/h bis ca. 750L/h eingestellt werden (50er Höhe)
Die Durchflussgeschwindigkeit des Wassers durch das Filtermaterial kann so in einem großen Bereich eingestellt werden (i.d.R. ca. 5 – 10 cm/min.), aber auch jenseits von 10 cm/min. liegen (berechnet nach Deters, www.deters-ing.de)
Kann mit entsprechenden handelsüblichen Luftpumpen (ca. 3 bis 10/15 Watt je nach Fabrikat und Version) äußerst preisgünstig betrieben werden
