Royal Canin Cat Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie Dry
Especially for adult overweight/neutered cats.
In cases of acute disease, regeneration of the intestinal villi requires dietary treatment for at least three weeks. In the case of chronic forms of the disease, lifelong further treatment may be necessary. In order to optimise the digestive function, the daily ration should be divided into several meals.
Important information:
- Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
- During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
High digestion safety
Proteins with high digestibility reduce intestinal fermentation processes. Fermentable fibres (FOS) support a balanced intestinal flora.
Moderate energy
The moderate fat content allows (long-term) use in cats with a tendency to gain weight.
High acceptance
A high palatability promotes spontaneous food intake and thus recovery, long-term use is possible through a reduced energy content.
EPA/DHA
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that can help support intestinal health.
