Edible bean beetle (Acanthoscelides obtectus) breeding batch
- for smaller reptiles and amphibians
- practical as they hatch over a longer period of time
Edible bean beetles have only recently become available as food animals. At first glance, they resemble Drosophila, but they are actually beetles. Bean beetles are fed to the same animals that feed on Drosophila. A breeding batch of bean beetles can be used as a holiday supply, as the beetles hatch out over a longer period of time.

These little beetles ...
These little beetles are ideal for pollinating (vitamins/minerals) and feeding my small pigeon dragons. The breeding batch lasts a long time and can also be placed in the terrarium.
