The bizarre toad lizards of the genus Phrynosoma are among the almost legendary terrarium animals. Every reptile lover is probably enchanted by the appearance of these small North American iguanas, but they have a reputation for being impossible to keep. However, more and more dedicated terrarium keepers are succeeding not only in keeping these food specialists for many years, but also in breeding them successfully.
