Practical sand bath for rodents who like to take a sand bath.

Rager bathes pronouncedly happy in the sand and need this also for their daily hygiene and for stress relief.

Farbmaus Farbmäuse sind quirlige, kleine Hausgenossen, bei denen es selten eine ruhige Minute gibt.Unter Farbmäusen versteht man alle Mäuse, die heute als Haustiere gehalten werden. Egal ob weiss oder buntgescheckt, kurzhaarig oder langhaarig, alle diese Tiere stammen von Labormäusen ab und haben mit ihren wildlebenden Verwandten nicht mehr viel gemeinsam. Haltung Farbmaus: Das Gehege sollte natürlich so gross wie möglich sein. Je grösser das Kleintierheim ist, um so mehr kann man die Mäuse bei ihren Aktivitäten beobachten.Wir empfehlen eine Grösse von mindestens 100×50 cm. Am besten hält man Mäuse in Terrarien oder Aquarien. Eine Abdeckung aus feinem Maschendraht oder speziellen Gittern verhindert das Ausbrechen der Mäuse.Mäuse sind lebhafte Tiere, die gerne klettern und springen. Man sollte ihnen also die Gelegenheit zur Bewegung verschaffen.Mäuse sind Rudeltiere und sollten nie alleine gehalten werden. Am besten hält man sich zwei oder mehrere Weibchen, die vertragen sich problemlos. Bei zwei Männchen können schon ab und zu Revierkämpfe auftreten.
