Tillandsias absorb the necessary nutrients and water through their leaves. Tillandsias require a bright location, but one that is protected from direct sunlight, especially in summer. Tillandsias thrive very well at room temperature.In winter, tillandsias should not be exposed to temperatures below 15°C.Tillandsias are best sprayed with soft water 2 to 3 times a week. Why test?The well-being of aquarium and pond dwellers and the growth of aquatic plants depend to a large extent on the pH level being kept as constant as possible. The pH level can also affect many substances dissolved in the water. Fluctuations in the pH level are definitely to be avoided.
