Söchting Oxydator W

The Söchting Oxydator W produces normal and activated oxygen using a patented process using the Söchting Oxydator solution and special ceramic catalysts. The activated oxygen breaks down toxins and putrefactive substances, thus improving the water quality and contributing to the well-being of fish and plants. The Oxydator W is designed for ponds up to 4000 litres. The catalyst is already included in the delivery. You have to buy the necessary solution. Foreign substances do not get into the solution. In winter it continues to work reliably even under a closed ice cover and brings oxygen down to the bottom where the fish stay over winter. An oxydator works with the oxydator solution as an oxygen carrier and with the catalyst to remove the oxygen. Catalysts last for several years and must first be replaced when their activity decreases significantly. This oxydator releases a total of as much oxygen as 20,000 litres of dissolved water and is sufficient for garden ponds up to approx. 4000 litres. In heavily polluted water or in larger ponds, it also brings about a great improvement in quality, but the dosage may then no longer be sufficient to prevent the occurrence of floating algae in particular. In this case, another device should be used. The higher the water temperature, the higher the oxygen demand of the organisms in your water. This law is followed by the release of oxygen by the oxydator. While one filling lasts 4-5 months in winter, it can be used up after just one warm summer month. When it needs to be refilled, you will see that the oxydator swims up to the water surface on its own. When this happens, wash out the ceramic cup with the solution and check for ice residue if necessary. If you have a strong OXYDATOR solution, first dilute it with distilled water. If the OXYDATOR remains under water for an unusually long time, you should take it out of the pond yourself. For further instructions and start-up, please refer to the instruction manual.
