The wood must be soaked before use, otherwise it will float. The wood can also be weighted down with a stone or glued to a slate slab to prevent it from floating.
Due to the humic acid, the wood can colour the aquarium water brown, but this can only be visually disturbing and poses no danger to the living organisms.

Just wood

What can you say, it's just wood. It seems to have been treated professionally as my fish and plants are still alive after four weeks. The XXL wood arrived well packed in one piece. Could be a little cheaper, but would clearly prefer it to Amazon!
