Anti Struvit - reduces the risk of recurrence of struvite. Struvite crystals and stones are a common occurring problem for cats. Struvite may lead to irritation and inflammation of the urinary tract, through to a blockage of the urethra. Dr.Clauder 's Anti-Struvite Diet was specifically designed to prevent struvite stones and their emergence. The solubility of struvite and dissolution of struvite stones is encouraged through the envisaged acidic pH of the urine. Particular nutritional purpose: Reducing the risk of recurrence of struvite. Essential nutritional characteristics: Urine acidifying properties, with low magnesium content. -ph control -struvite stone control -odour control.
