Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie Dry
For dogs that tend to be overweight
5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals or stones dissolve. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urine examination.
Attention: In older dogs, an examination of renal function is recommended before URINARY S/O MODERATE CALORIE is administered.
Important information:
- Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
- During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Struvite dissolution
The composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals and stones.
Moderate energy
The adapted energy content helps dogs with a tendency to be overweight (after castration, little exercise, race conditioned) to maintain their ideal weight.
Urine dilution
By increasing the volume of urine, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is reduced.
Low RSS value
Helps to reduce the struvite and oxalate crystal forming ions in the urine (undersaturation).
