Dennerle CrustaGran - Basic feed for shrimps and dwarf crayfish with 20% algae

CrustaGran is a sinking special feed tailored to the needs of fresh water shrimps and dwarf crayfish. CrustaGran contains high-quality proteins from aquatic animals and a high percentage (20%) of valuable algae – Chlorella, Dunaliella, Ascophyllum and 10% Spirulina – for balanced growth and problem-free moulting.
Vital vitamins provide for vitality and strengthen resistance to diseases. Natural carotenoids and astaxanthin help to bring out shrimps’ natural colouring in all its glory, particularly in yellow-, orange- and red-coloured varieties. CrustaGran retains its form in water for up to 24 hours. This avoids unnecessary contamination and clouding of the water.

Granule size: 2 mm

  • For a biologically balanced diet geared to these crustaceans’ needs

JBL ProNovo Daph Nature S 100ml
JBL ProNovo Daph Nature Water fleas for all ornamental fish from 3 to 10 cmSun-dried water fleas (Daphnia) as an ideal food supplement for healthy ornamental fish Water fleas contain a lot of dietary fiber, are therefore very healthy and are eaten with great pleasure by all ornamental fish species Natural sun-drying process, for preservation of valuable ingredients No water turbidity: Better water quality due to improved digestibility of the food, reducing fish excretion Scope of delivery: original sealed, airtight and lightproof, recyclable tin with dosing aid in the lidIn the past, almost every aquarist caught water fleas himself in nature and fed them to his fish. Today it is generally forbidden for nature conservation reasons and many waters are now so heavily polluted that it is no longer safe to catch food animals. JBL uses trusted suppliers who have legal access to absolutely clean waters with harmless water flea populations. The water fleas are preserved and packaged directly after catching by sun drying. In this way, their valuable ingredients and dietary fiber are preserved and benefit the diet of ornamental fish. Water fleas (Daphnia): They grow to 1-5 mm in size, biologically belong to the gill-foot crabs and thus to the freshwater plankton of stagnant waters. They do not belong to the stream fleas (Gammarus), which grow up to 2 cm long, look completely different, live rather in flowing waters and belong to the amphipods. Jumping crabs (Cyclops), on the other hand, are much smaller (0.5-1 mm) and belong to the copepods.

JBL Pronovo FIL Nature M
JBL Pronovo FIL Nature Red mosquito larvae as a treat for all ornamental fish from 3 to 10 years old.Freeze-dried red mosquito larvae (chironomid larvae) are an ideal food supplement for healthy ornamental fish. Red mosquito larvae are rich in nutrients and are the basis of the diet of many fish species in nature. Alternative to live and frozen food: supplementary food for tropical freshwater fish. The drying process preserves the nutrients No water turbidity: better water quality due to better digestibility of the food, which reduces fish excrement  Scope of delivery: original sealed, air-tight and lightproof, recyclable box with dosing aid in the lid.  Red mosquito larvae are the ideal food for strengthening fish. Chironomid larvae sometimes appear en masse and in nature are a main food base for many, many species of fish. They are NOT mosquito larvae (Culicidae).Ideally, you should find a main food for your ornamental fish, e.g. JBL PRONOVO BEL, and supplement it with a second main food, e.g. JBL PRONOVO COLOR. Alternately, treats and supplements such as JBL PRONOVO SPIRULINA or JBL PRONOVO FIL, FEX, DAPH or ARTEMIO are added. This guarantees a varied diet for the treated fish.Food size/mouth size: This may sound trivial, but it is important that the size of the food corresponds to the size of the fish's mouth. Not all fish are capable of biting into larger pieces of food. The size of the fish to which the food size is adapted is indicated on all JBL food cans, at the bottom left on the front of the label. There are few freshwater fish that will not eat red mosquito larvae unless they are too large for their mouths (e.g., neon eels). East African cichlids from lakes Malawi and Tanganyika should NEVER be fed red mosquito larvae. For reasons still unknown, they do not tolerate red mosquito larvae. On the other hand, white or black mosquito larvae are not a problem for the cichlids of these two lakes.

JBL ProNovo Artemio Nature M
JBL ProNovo Artemio Nature Artemia treats for all ornamental fish from 8 to 20 cmFreeze-dried brine shrimps (Artemia) in chunks as an ideal food supplement for healthy ornamental fish.Artemia are proven to be very rich and healthy and are eaten with great pleasure by all ornamental fish species.Alternative to live and frozen food: supplementary nutrition for tropical freshwater fish and marine fish. Drying process preserves nutrients. No water turbidity: Better water quality due to improved digestibility of the food, reducing fish excretion Scope of delivery: original sealed, airtight and lightproof, recyclable tin with dosing aid in the lidArtemia salina is a small crayfish found in salt lakes worldwide. It has the special property of laying eggs that can survive dry for about a year. If these eggs get back into salt water, the young crayfish (nauplii) hatch and grow into adult crayfish 1.5 cm long. JBL offers eggs and culture equipment for cultivating brine shrimp in the JBL Artemio program.JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO contains large, gently freeze-dried Artemia crayfish. They are eaten with great pleasure by practically all fish species and also have a high nutritional value. Unlike live and frozen foods, there is no risk of introducing diseases or unwanted bacteria into the aquarium. It is also not necessary to pour off salt water in the case of live Artemia with freeze-dried Artemia. The JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO "chunks" float on the water surface due to their buoyancy. The fish can bite off smaller chunks there. Alternatively, the chunks can be pressed slightly in the water so that their buoyancy is reduced. JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO is a very welcome change in the diet of both freshwater and marine fish.JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO contains only large, vacuum freeze-dried Artemia crayfish, without additives or preservatives. This process preserves the valuable ingredients of the brine shrimp. To expand the diet of ornamental fish, supplementing the main diet with freeze-dried foods is highly recommended. The following feeds are available for this purpose: JBL PRONOVO DAPH (water fleas), JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO (brine shrimp), JBL PRONOVO FEX (tubifex/stream worms), JBL PRONOVO FIL (red mosquito larvae).

Tubifex are very energy-rich and strengthen the organism of the fish Alternative to live and frozen food: supplementary nutrition for tropical freshwater fish. Drying process preserves nutrients Vacuum freeze-drying process ensures that important nutrients are preserved in the dried food animals. Scope of delivery: original sealed, airtight and light-proof, recyclable tin with dosing aid in the lid Tubifex belong to the natural food spectrum of many ornamental fish that search the bottom for food. The 15-85 mm long Tubifex live in the ground and the blood pigment hemoglobin leads to their red color as long as they live. During the freeze-drying process, the red color disappears. Unlike live and frozen foods, there is no risk of introducing diseases or unwanted bacteria into the aquarium. The JBL PRONOVO FEX "chunks" float on the water surface because of their buoyancy. The fish can bite off smaller chunks there. Alternatively, the chunks can be pressed slightly in the water so that their buoyancy is reduced. To expand the diet of ornamental fish, supplementing the main diet with freeze-dried foods is highly recommended. The following feed types are available for this purpose: JBL PRONOVO DAPH (water fleas), JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO (brine shrimp), JBL PRONOVO FEX (tubifex/stream worms), JBL PRONOVO FIL (red mosquito larvae).Food size/mouth size: It may sound banal, but it is important that the food size fits the mouth size of the fish. Taxiphyllum sp. 'Flame' (flame moss)
Taxiphyllum sp. 'Flame'Taxiphyllum Flame is a moss genus from Southeast Asia with upward stems that resemble flames. As a mid-ground plant, it is often placed on roots.Difficulty of growing: easyLight requirements: lowCO₂ requirements: lowHeight of mature plant: 5-15 cmGrowth: mediumTemperature: 18 - 28°CPlacement in aquarium: Middle ground, on the decorationOrigin: Southeast AsiaShell diameter 6 cmThe compact, upright and gently swaying stems give the impression of a green campfire up to 15 cm high. Therefore, the Taxiphyllum is often called flame moss or burning moss. With its interesting growth habit, flame moss is great for decorating horizontal areas and can also be used as a lawn. It looks great when grafted onto branching roots. Ideal for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, but also for larger tanks. Unlike most mosses, it grows quickly in height and spreads much more slowly laterally. It grows well on roots, rocks, coconut shells or other decorative elements. It has no extensive root system, so it is not suitable for planting in the ground. The Taxiphyllum does not need strong lighting or carbon dioxide fertilization to grow well. However, it will grow faster with stronger lighting. It tolerates a wide temperature range from 18 to 28 °C. Frequent water changes encourage its growth, but it does not tolerate rapid changes in water parameters. It grows well in both soft and hard water. It thrives without additional macro- or micronutrient fertilization. Pruning helps the plant to compact and grow, creating a strikingly dense bed. Pruning is done with sharp moss shears. The cut branches can be reinserted into the aquarium to propagate. Thein vitro culture of plants is carried out in tissue culture laboratories. The cuttings are free from snails, algae or pathogens thanks to the sterile production conditions.Planting:The plant must be removed from the cup and thoroughly rinsed from the gel under running water. This is best done by placing the plant in a container of lukewarm water. Most of the gel will then fall off by itself. Divide the contents of the cup into 1-2 cm lumps and then place them on the selected items at a small distance..

Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo'
Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo'Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo' is a green plant that gets along with little light. It forms a green lawn in the aquarium. It can also be planted as an epiphyte on roots, ornaments or stones.Difficulty of cultivation: moderately demanding Light requirement: high CO₂ requirement: medium Height of mature plant: 2-10 cm Growth: medium Temperature: 23-28°C Placement in aquarium: in the foreground Origin: South America 6 cm cup diameter Micranthemum sp. 'Monte Carlo' (Micranthemum tweediei) is native to Argentina. It is a lawn plant with small, compact, round, light green leaves. In most cases, the leaves are 0.5-1 cm long. It is ideal fornano aquariums, but also for larger tanks. It forms a fast-growing carpet in the foreground of the aquarium. Under good conditions it spreads very quickly.Plant in small clumps close together or on roots or rocks. It floats well on substrate. When grown on decorative elements, it forms stems that hang down impressively. Pruning promotes density and growth of the plant. The care of Monte Carlo is not demanding. It consists of regular pruning with sharp scissors with curved blades. The cut longest branches can be planted in the ground as stems. Such a seedling will form roots and continue to grow.It also grows without additional carbon dioxide supply or macro- and micronutrient fertilizers. However, it should be remembered that it is a slow to moderate growth. To ensure optimal growth, the plant should receive good light conditions and additional CO₂.Fertile substrate and liquid fertilizer have a positive effect on the condition of the plant.Planting: The plant must be removed from the cup and thoroughly rinsed from the gel under running water. This is best done by placing the plant in a container of lukewarm water. Most of the gel will then fall off by itself. Divide the contents of the cup into 1-2 cm lumps and then place them at a small distance in the substrate or on the selected objects.
