The Plant Growth System Nano is a small, elegant solution for small aquariums
A Plant Growth System Nano is a desirable solution for precise CO2 dosage for small aquariums. CO2 addition benefits the growth of all plants and improves colour development.
A simple and inexpensive way to supply extra CO2 to the plants in your aquarium
Easy to install, use and maintain
Suitable for starter-sets, where even small amounts of extra CO2 will make a positive difference for the plants
User guide:
Ensure that the regulator is fully off before you mount the regulator on the CO2 cartridge.
Fill the diffuser-chamber with water.
Place the cartridge in the rack, slide the suction cups on the hose and mount the hose to the regulator and the diffuser.
Mount the diffuser with the suction cups at the inner side of the tank near the bottom and place the hose in the back corner.
Leave the diffuser for 24h in the tank to ensure the ceramic disc is fully moistened.
Open the regulator carefully and count the number of bubbles per minute in the diffuser-chamber.
Wait 5 minutes, adjust and repeat until the number of bubbles per minute is similar to the recommendation in the table.
The table shows recommended dosage (bubbles per minute) in different tank sizes. A 95 g CO2 cartridge contains 50,000 ml CO2.
The most important nutrient for plants is CO2.
The natural CO2 level in an aquarium is 0-0.5 mg/L of water.Even the slightest addition of CO2 can make a big difference improving the growth and vigour of the plants.
If the aquarium contains only slow-growing Easy-plants, the addition of CO2 gas into the water should reach a level of approx. 3 mg/L to ensure good growth conditions.
For Medium category plants the CO2 requirement is approximately 10 mg/L and for Advanced plants approx. 25 mg/L.
*) If you have a larger aquarium containing Medium or Advanced plants, the lifetime of a nano-cartridge will be too short. In this case we recommend a larger cylinder e.g. 2 kg refillable.
Tropica CO2 3in1 bubble counter, check valve and diffuser
The CO2- 3 in 1 from Tropica combines bubble counter, check valve and diffuser in a single unit. The bubble counter allows easy and accurate dosing of the CO2, as the large bubbles in the chamber can be easily counted during adjustment. A check valve ensures that water from the aquarium is not sucked back into the hose.
Spare diffuser complete for Tropica Plant Care CO2 Nano Set 95g
Bubble counter, check valve and ceramic diffuser in one
Specially developed ceramic plate, which ensures effective formation of micro bubbles

ProFito plant fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination.EasyCarbo is a very powerful and efficient source of carbon for aquarium plants. Carbon is essential for plants. The fertiliser can be used for aquariums with or without additional carbon dioxide fertilisation. A strong growth spurt is noticeable after just a few weeks. EasyCarbo increases the competitive power of plants against algae and at the same time contributes to their reduction. The product is ideal for combining with the plant nutrient ProFito.
Algae no longer stand a chance
Plants assimilate and grow much better because of the carbon from EasyCarbo. Especially marsh plants such as Cryptocoryne sp. and Echinodorus sp. react positively, as EasyCarbo is very easily absorbed. They grow much more vigorously and look more beautiful and fuller. The more vigorous growth of underwater and marsh plants causes a reduction in algae. Brush algae, beard algae and the like really don't stand a chance any more. The use of ProFito complete fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination!
Plants need more than just carbon. Trace elements are also essential. Trace elements can never be measured exactly and as we do not know which trace elements are present in the water, ProFito is the ideal solution to enrich water comprehensively with trace elements.
Disposable CO2 bottleThis disposable CO₂bottle supplies your aquarium plants with their main nutrient, carbon dioxide (CO₂). Turn the pressure regulating fitting with internal thread onto the external thread (M10x1) of the supply bottles, and you are ready to go. The pressure bottle should always stand vertically as long as it is in use.Scope of delivery: disposable cylinder, ready-filled with 1.2 kg CO₂, dimensions: approx. 45 × 10 cm, thread M10x1Easy installationIncluding mounted rubber standTÜV-testedTotal height with mounted pressure reducer: 37 cmCO₂ disposable bottle or CO₂ reusable bottle? There are two different types of bottle: Disposable bottles, which are disposed of as well as recycled after emptying, and reusable bottles, which could be refilled again and again. Refilling can be done by pet shops and gas companies. If you live in a region where refilling is problematic, for example, the disposable bottle would be an alternative. If the refilling situation improves, you can convert the disposable pressure reducer into a reusable pressure reducer in 2 minutes by screwing on the adapter (JBL PROFLORA CO2 ADAPT u-m). Aquarists who live on islands, for example, are sometimes not allowed to transport filled reusable bottles on ferries or planes. Disposable bottles are then sometimes allowed! (Please always clarify exactly)The size of the bottle often depends on the cupboard below where the CO₂-supply bottle is placed: a 500 g disposable bottle is only 31 cm high (plus pressure reducer = 37 cm), a 500 g reusable bottle with stand is already 43 cm and a 2000 g bottle 45.5 cm high. In principle, of course, a larger bottle is advantageous because it simply needs to be replaced or refilled less often.

JBL Taifun Inline 16/22 The right amount of CO₂ in the water is essential for aquarium plants to grow and thrive. That is why the JBLTaifun Inline 16/22 is an efficient solution for the needs of your aquarium plants. The plants use the CO₂ as their main nutrient and through photosynthesis they supply the aquarium with important oxygen.Inside the diffuser there is a special membrane through which the CO₂ diffuses into the aquarium water, which is pumped back into the aquarium by the external filter. The very smallCO2 bubbles dissolve excellently in the water and save around 20 % compared to other CO₂ diffusers. The direct diffuser should be integrated into the hose as close as possible to the external filter tank in order to extend the distance of the CO₂ in the hose as much as possible. A vertical installation position enables the best readability of the integrated bubble counter.Efficient CO₂ enrichment in the aquarium Ideal for plantsIntegrated bubble counterA diffuser, wall bracket, suction cups and screw fixings are supplied.

Limnobium laevigatum In-Vitro - a dainty floating plant
Limnobium laevigatum is a dainty floating plant for open aquariums and for the garden pond or water trough. However, this South American plant is not hardy and therefore, needs to be overwintered in a warm place. In the right conditions, the plants spread quickly and, bit by bit, develop into a dense carpet of plants. Very long root beards can form in places, providing good protection for young fish in the aquarium
