Die Schildkröten hocken sehr gerne in diesem Schildkrötenhaus. Trotz geöffnetem Deckel (mittels automatischem Fensterheber) und Törchen wird es an einem sonnigem Tag bei 20 Grad ab dem Mittag zu heiss im Schildkrötenhaus (45 Grad, im Hochsommer bestimmt mehr). Entweder muss man das Haus beschatten oder die Schildkrötchen rausjagen. Das Türchen ist eigentlich auf der falschen Seite. Man muss, um den Deckel zu öffnen, jedesmal ins Gartengehege stehen. Wären Törchen und Deckel auf der gegenüberliegenen Seite, könnte man das Haus von ausserhalb des Geheges öffnen (wenn es am Gehegerand steht) und müsste nicht immer reinstehen. Ein Loch war nicht am richtigen Ort gebohrt und wir konnten das Haus erst vollständig zusammensetzten, nachdem wir das Loch mit der Bohrmaschine am richtigen Ort gebohrt hatten.
