The leaf blade is about 2 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The plant does not have excessive requirements. It grows even in moderate light, although the red color then becomes less intense.
The plant can be planted in the ground or on decorations. When attached to the roots, it forms fanciful compositions, reminiscent of treetops. In this form of cultivation should not forget about the additional application of liquid fertilizer. The best growth results are obtained when planted in a fertile substrate. Under good conditions it spreads quickly.Ludwigia sp. Super Mini Red' has many lovers thanks to its extremely intense red color. It discolors easily and quickly under strong light conditions. It does well in the strong spots of an arrangement, in the second or third row. The Super Mini Red variety does not require CO₂ and grows in the water column even with low light intensity and low fertilizer levels. Therefore, it is a suitable plant for beginners in plant aquaristics. However, it is important to remember that the best growing results can be achieved with appropriate lighting and additional carbon dioxide addition. It grows in both hard and soft water with pH between 5.5 and 7.5.
It does not require complicated care. Frequent pruning and good growing conditions will ensure beautiful, dense plants. It can grow up to 25 cm tall. As with most stems, the cut tips of the plants can be replanted in the ground. composition of the ideal growth food for young fish depends on many
factors. The young fish are growing and need important nutrients for
development. Vital vitamins and the bioelement inositol are needed to
strengthen the immune system. With young fish it is essential that the
food size fits the mouth size. It is better to feed a feed that is too
small than a feed that is too large! The appropriate phosphate content
of the feed is essential for healthy bone formation. Too little
phosphate and calcium will lead to bone deformities.
When the young fish are large enough, supplementation with live Artemia

Only a male of the same species is fought to the death - hence the name! The beautiful, long-finned fighting fish in our pet shops are descended from the species Betta splendens, which is also popular for fish fights in Asia. Fighting fish and many other labyrinth fish (gouramis, gourami & macropods) live in both standing and flowing water. They are ambush hunters, quickly darting out with their overhead mouth to eat, for example, an insect that had landed on the water surface. They do not eat any aquarium plants and do not need much space. If you want to keep females as well as a male, you should definitely add several females. A single female would be too crowded. The best-known fighting fish species build foam nests on the water surface, which are guarded by the male. Other species of fighting fish are mouth brooders that incubate their eggs in the mouth until the young hatch and are large enough to stand on their own legs or fins. Water values are not really crucial for fighting fish. They prefer soft water and pH values between 6.5 and 7.5, but can also cope with other values. When feeding, it is important that the composition is adapted to their natural diet. JBL PRONOVO BETTA in flake or granulate form provides the basic nutrition. Such foods, including probiotic fish food, can easily spoil and then have the opposite effect. The positive effect on health is, by the way, quite controversial.Pre- or prebiotics are "substrates that are selectively used by host microorganisms and impart health benefits." Scientists agree that they promote digestion and thus health. With better digestion, less is excreted and thus the water is less polluted, keeping the water cleaner and causing fewer algae problems.
