Optimum algae prevention: Algae in an aquarium is unsightly and can also inhibit the growth of water plants. Furthermore they negatively influence the biological balance in the aquarium on a long-term basis. Algae grow when there is too much exposure to light or a surplus of nutrients exists. To prevent algae growth, the algae nutrients phosphate (PO4) and nitrate (NO3-) should be reduced, e.g. with Tetra EasyBalance. For prevention it is also possible to regularly use special anti-algae agents.*Use anti-algae products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

JBL ProNovo Guppy Flakes SAquarium staple food flakes in size S for all live-bearing fish from 3 to 10 cm in size for community aquariums.Prebiotic floating aquarium fish food: special fiber in the food provides the beneficial intestinal bacteria with food for healthy digestionNatural raw materials without artificial additives for a natural diet and healthy aquarium fish. Tested on JBL research expeditions in the tropicsVery high acceptance even with picky species of live-bearing toothcarp thanks to high-quality raw materials such as salmon, shrimps and spirulinaWith very high-quality natural astaxanthin from krill and spirulina, which ensures perfect coloration in guppies and other livebearersScope of delivery: Original sealed, airtight and lightproof, recyclable tin with dosing aid inside the lidGuppies, black mollies, platies, sail carp, gambusia, swordtails and some others belong to the group of livebearing toothcarps. What they all have in common is that they give birth to live young and do not lay eggs like most other fish species. In the wild, livebearers eat insects, insect larvae, algae and anything else they can eat - they are not picky. Depending on the habitat, algae and the small animals living in it often form the largest part of their diet.Flakes or granules?Honestly, it's a question of faith! There are only a few arguments for or against the type of food. If you use an automatic feeder such as the JBL AutoFood, you MUST choose granulated food, as almost all automatic feeders are only suitable for granules. If an automatic feeder is due on your next vacation, get your fish used to the granules from the feeder RIGHT AWAY. Some fish actually find it difficult to switch from granules to flakes or vice versa. Imagine that you have always eaten soft cornflakes and are now giving them whole grain muesli for the first time.Probiotic or prebiotic?Probiotic foods, such as some types of yogurt, contain live bacterial cultures to promote health, but only when consumed in large quantities. Such foods, including probiotic fish food, can easily spoil and then have the opposite effect. Incidentally, the positive effect on health is controversial.Pre- or prebiotics are "substrates that are selectively used by host microorganisms and provide health benefits." Scientists agree that they promote digestion and therefore health. Better digestion results in less excretion and therefore less pollution of the water, which keeps the water cleaner and reduces algae problems.
Easy Life Carbo
Liquid carbon fertiliser CO₂: simple and effective.
Effective carbon fertiliser promotes
good plant growth
Plant growth prevents the growth of algae also helps against cyanobacteria
Dosage:
A lightly planted aquarium:
1 ml per 50 litres daily
A densely planted aquarium :
1 ml per 25 litres daily
ProFito plant fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination.EasyCarbo is a very powerful and efficient source of carbon for aquarium plants. Carbon is essential for plants. The fertiliser can be used for aquariums with or without additional carbon dioxide fertilisation. A strong growth spurt is noticeable after just a few weeks. EasyCarbo increases the competitive power of plants against algae and at the same time contributes to their reduction. The product is ideal for combining with the plant nutrient ProFito.
Algae no longer stand a chance
Plants assimilate and grow much better because of the carbon from EasyCarbo. Especially marsh plants such as Cryptocoryne sp. and Echinodorus sp. react positively, as EasyCarbo is very easily absorbed. They grow much more vigorously and look more beautiful and fuller. The more vigorous growth of underwater and marsh plants causes a reduction in algae. Brush algae, beard algae and the like really don't stand a chance any more. The use of ProFito complete fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination!
Plants need more than just carbon. Trace elements are also essential. Trace elements can never be measured exactly and as we do not know which trace elements are present in the water, ProFito is the ideal solution to enrich water comprehensively with trace elements.
Bio-Exit SilicateBio-Exit Silicate binds excess silicate in the water, so that their aquarium without unsightly brown coatings on gravel & plants, can shine.Silicates occur in tap water or are released from the soil.
Silicates can promote the growth of diatoms (diatoms), which can form a brown coating on plants and soil.
Diatoms are not toxic or harmful, but the appearance suffers from the algae.Tip: Should you do a silicate test again after administering Bio-Exit Silicate, the value will still be displayed - this because the Bio-Exit Silicate binds and converts the silicate and does not neutralize it.Dosage.
10 ml per 20 liters on day 1 and on day 3. No water changes within 7 days after the first dose.

PROCRISTAL UV-CCrystal clear and healthy waterPoor lighting conditions, over-fertilization or even an excess of nutrients can have a negative effect on aquarium water and promote algae. Suspended algae lead to green turbidity, bacteria to whitish turbidity. The JBL Water Clarifier removes turbidity caused by bacteria and suspended algae. The aquarium water is passed through the stable, UV-resistant housing of the clarifier. The UV-C radiation kills the bacteria, other germs and suspended algae in the water flowing through. The efficiency of this UV-C water clarifier is particularly high because the glass bulb is surrounded by a polished, reflective stainless steel foil that reflects the UV-C radiation, thus doubling the efficiency. This can also have a positive effect on the elimination of sessile algae, such as filamentous algae, as their spores are also largely killed. No harmful side effectsNo change in water values / no negative effects on important cleaning bacteria in the filter.Easy installationConnect the water clarifier to the external filter or a separate water pump. Due to included 90° angle, any desired installation position can be achieved.SafetyThe JBL UV-C water clarifier is TÜV-tested and has a safety switch for automatic shutdown when the device is opened. The housing is UV-resistant and sturdy walls and has an LED lamp that indicates whether the UV-C burner is working .Difference from the previous model JBL ProCristal UV-C Compact:The function indicator lights are now located on the flat side of the electrical unit and the microswitch for automatic shutdown of the burner when the housing is opened (if the plug has not been pulled out) is changed to a magnetic safety switch. As a result, the electrical units of the previous models (Compact) do NOT fit the new ones (Compact Plus) and vice versa. Crystal clear and healthy water: 36 W UV-C water clarifier for fast and efficient removal of greenish and whitish turbidity in freshwater and saltwater aquariums as well as garden ponds.Space-saving installation: connection to external filter or separate pump. Inlet/outlet opening mounted in a practical way. Shortest installation length: 61 cmPartial disinfection up to 3000 litres aquarium (pump max. 1000 l/h) /30,000 l pond (pump max. 4000 l/h), against floating algae up to 800 l in aquarium (pump max. 1000 l/h) /up to 8000 l pond (pump max. 4000 l/h)TÜV tested, safety switch: automatic switch-off of the UV-C burner when the unit is opened. Sturdy, UV-resistant housing, 2-glass constructionScope of delivery: Complete UV-C unit, 5 m cable, UV-C burner 36 W, base: 2G11, wall bracket, V2A screws, hose connection sleeves for 12 to 40 mm hoses. Warranty: 2 (+2 years if the product is registered)
Unique algae control by bacteria
Nutrient utilizing bacteria in a stable, permanent form begin to work and multiply within the shortest time upon contact with water. They remove algae nutrients – in particular phosphate – from the water and are therefore effective against undesired algae in the aquarium by using the nutrient competition principle. Algae growth is inhibited and the algae population is lastingly reduced. Algae blooms are prevented in case of prophylactic use.

Bio-Exit GreenA biological imbalance can cause plants to grow poorly and increasingly lose sugars. These sugars can serve as a food source for algae (such as beard algae, filamentous algae, brush algae and brown algae). Bio-Exit Green restores this biological balance and counteracts the loss of sugars in plants with a unique blend of specific organic acids and growth stimulators. When used as directed, the treatment is not harmful to fish, plants, crustaceans and other invertebrates.Application: Shake before use. Remove activated carbon. Do not overdose.Balance treatment for 2 weeks:Day 1: 10 ml per 40 litres of waterDay 7: 10 ml per 40 litres of waterDay 14: Change waterDo not change the water during the treatment. If the result is not satisfactory, this treatment can be repeated.
