Wenn Sie Ihren Hund im Cabrio mitnehmen, im Schneegelände lange spazieren gehen oder bei extrem staubigen Verhältnissen - die Augen des Hundes müssen geschützt werden. Eine Sonnenbrille schützt vor allem das Auge vor äusseren Einflüssen.

Die Gläser filtern aus dem Lichtspektrum schädliche Strahlen heraus und schirmen das Auge gleichzeitig vor Wind und Partikeln in der Luft ab.

Die verschiedenen Spektren des Sonnenlichtes (UV -C, -B,-A / sichtbares Licht, IR) werden von den anatomischen Strukturen des Auges (Linse, Hornhaut und Netzhaut) unterschiedlich stark aufgenommen. Je nach Intensität und Gewebeart entstehen dadurch verschiedene strukturelle Veränderungen auf der Hornhaut, in der Linse oder der Netzhaut. Mechanische Reizung (durch Sand, Staub, und andere Partikel), Allergiewirkung oder auch Austrocknung führen zu Irritationen und folglich zu Entzündungen des Auges bzw. seiner dazugehörenden Strukturen.

Nicht jeder Hund braucht eine Sonnenschutzbrille. Aber belegt ist, dass sie unter gewissen Voraussetzungen (genetische Prädispositionen, bereits bestehende (Augen-Krankheiten) oder in situationsbezogenen ungünstigen Gegebenheiten, wie zum Beispiel Windzug (Cabrio, Motorrad) und starke Sonneneinstrahlung (Berg- und Skitour, Flächensuchhunde im Einsatz, Hütehunde) etc. es durchaus angebracht sein kann.

Zu schmaler "Schnauzenausschnitt" - sonst prima.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut. Bis jetzt ist die Qualität bestens, wie es in ein paar Wochen aussieht, wird sich zeigen. Einzig ist aus meiner Sicht der "Nasenausschnitt" zu schmal. Unser Hund hat schon eine ziemlich schmale Schnauze und wenn der Ausschnitt breiter wäre, würde die Brille viel besser sitzen. Besten Dank und Gruss Ch. Pagnamenta
