The Pontec PondoPolar ice holder reliably prevents the water surface from freezing over completely, thus ensuring stable living conditions in the pond during the winter months. Even at temperatures as low as -10 °C, an open area remains in the ice, allowing vital gas exchange.

Made from robust polystyrene, the ice freezer is ideal for year-round outdoor use. The integrated sinking chamber can be individually filled with sand so that the float can be optimally weighted and securely positioned in the pond. The ventilation slits ensure that harmful gases can escape and fresh air can enter - an important advantage for the health of all pond inhabitants.
