Product information "Oase SediFree - Sludge remover"

SediFree sludge remover - 700g

Get to grips with sludge deposits in the garden pond and use SediFree preferably in spring when the water temperature is above 15℃.

SediFree uses powerful bacteria to effectively break down organic sludge deposits. The innovative two-component system with active oxygen granules accelerates the decomposition process and specifically prevents increasing siltation and permanent turbidity. The granulate penetrates deep into the sludge layer, oxidizes it and thus creates optimum conditions for microorganisms, which then completely break down the organic material. The best effect is achieved from a water temperature of 12 °C.

  • Sludge-free - Reliably removes organic deposits
  • Duo technology - Effective sludge degradation through active oxygen & microorganisms
  • Clear view - Ensures clean pond water and improved transparency
  • Natural & effective - Lasting effect without chemical additives

MUD-DISSOLVING FORMULA: High-performance bacteria for thorough decomposition of organic deposits

DUO-POWER: Two-component technology with active oxygen for maximum efficiency

PREVENTIVE PROTECTION: Targeted prevention of siltation and permanent turbidity

Dosage: Add 70g (=50ml) of product to 1000 liters of pond water.

Application: Dose the required amount according to the instructions in the cup provided. Spread evenly over the pond surface. Application can be repeated after 4 weeks. Best effect at water temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius. At cooler temperatures, decomposition takes longer due to reduced bacterial activity. Switch off UVC devices shortly before and 3 days after treatment. Store in a cool, dry and frost-free place. Filling level technically limited.

Variant: 250ml - 5000 liters of pond water | Variant (1): 250ml - 5000 liters of pond water
TetraPond Aqua Safe for ponds Ensures natural and fish-friendly pond water Due to maintenance measures such as water changes or the natural evaporation process, it is necessary to add tap water to the pond from time to time. As our tap water is intended for human use, it contains chlorine to kill germs. It may also contain heavy metals which are harmless to humans but toxic to fish. Both chlorine and heavy metals stress the fish and inflict long-term harm. Tetra Pond AquaSafe neutralises these substances harmful to fish instantly and effectively, and additionally adds vital substances such as minerals and iodine to the water. Special combination of active ingredients provides immediate and long-lasting triple pond protection: Effectively and permanently binds toxic heavy metals such as copper, zinc and lead Neutralises aggressive chlorine Organic care colloids provide long-term protection for the gills and mucous membranes of pond fish, thereby preventing disease Contains vitamin B1 to combat stress, e.g. during fish transport or when introducing/transferring fish With iodine and minerals for increased vitality and readiness to spawn Creates optimal conditions for the colonisation of microorganisms which break down harmful substances such as ammonia and nitrite With immediate and long-term effect Particularly easy and precise to dose Optimal supplement: Tetra Pond FilterZym, Tetra Pond AquaFresh and Tetra Pond AquaFit nstructions for use: Indispensable when first filling the pond, at every partial water change, after extended rainfall and after disease treatment   Dosing instructions: Shake bottle well before use. With the dosing cup add 50ml Tetra Pond AquaSafe per 1,000 litres of pond water. For optimal effect, pre-dilute Tetra Pond AquaSafe in a container and distribute largely over the surface of the water. We recommend regular follow-up dosing with half the amount every 2-3 weeks. Dwarf water lily – Nymphaea Pygmaea Rubra
Dwarf water lily Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Rubra’ red (18cm)The dwarf water lily Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Rubra’ brings an elegant splash of colour to the water’s surface with its red flowers. Thanks to its compact form, it is particularly suitable for smaller garden ponds as well as mini ponds and bowls. Ideal if you want a water lily that doesn’t take up too much space.Dwarf-form water lily – suitable for small water areasFlower colour: redGrowth: compact, for a controlled leaf areaArea of application: Garden pond, mini pond, tub/bowlTechnical dataBotanical name: Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Rubra’English name: Dwarf water lilyFlower colour: redPlanting depth: -10 to -40cmFlowering period: June to September Pot size: approx. 18 cmWith the dwarf water lily Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Rubra’ you bring the typical water lily atmosphere into the garden – even if your pond is rather small or you want to plant in a mini pond or tub. Dwarf water lilies are designed to unfold a harmonious effect in a limited space: Floating leaves on the surface and an attractive blossom, without the water area being quickly completely covered. The ‘Rubra’ variety creates an elegant, easily visible splash of colour with its red flowers.Especially with smaller garden ponds, balanced planting is crucial. Water lilies that grow too vigorously can quickly dominate the surface and “close” the water effect. In comparison, a dwarf water lily remains more compact and is therefore a good choice if you want a calm, well-kept look and nevertheless do not want to do without the classic water lily eye-catcher. ‘Rubra’ is particularly effective when positioned so that you have a good view of the flowers from your seat or terrace – as the red shades clearly stand out against the water and greenery. For establishing, stable placement is important, ideally in a planting basket or a suitable container. This way the rhizome lies undisturbed, and you can adjust the position if necessary. If you are looking for a compact water lily with a strong colour, Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Rubra’ is a fitting choice for a natural yet controlled pond design.Note: We make every effort to ensure that our plants arrive healthy and undamaged. Despite the greatest care, it may occur that plants are slightly damaged during postal delivery or by other unforeseen events. This includes both brown leaves and bent branches. We accept no liability for this. Do not plant in open waters such as lakes or biotopes. Zoo-Roco tip: Put dwarf water lilies in a planting basket so you can easily adjust their position. If the plant is still small at first, start out higher (shallower) and lower them later – this often encourages quicker growth and flowering.

Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Alba’ – dwarf water lily white-yellowThe dwarf water lily Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Alba’, with its white-yellow flowers, adds a calm, elegant touch to the water’s surface. Its compact growth habit makes it particularly suitable for smaller garden ponds or basins where a classic water lily would be too vigorous. Ideal if you want a delicate floral effect without the pond looking ‘overgrown’.Dwarf water lily – suitable for smaller pondsFlower colour: white-yellowGrowth: compact, with a modest foliage and flower displaySuitable for: garden pond, mini-pond, pots/basins (depending on setup)Technical dataBotanical name: Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Alba’Common name: dwarf water lilyFlower colour: white-yellowPlanting depth: between -10 and -40cmFlowering period: from June to September\nPot size: approx. 18 cmWith the dwarf water lily Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Alba’, you can create particularly stylish water features – even if your garden pond is rather small or you wish to plant in a mini-pond . Dwarf water lilies are made to create the typical water lily effect in a limited space: the leaves float on the surface, whilst the delicate water lilies appear. The ‘Alba’ variety impresses with a white-yellow flower colour, which has a very calming effect and can be easily combined with various pond and marginal plants.\n\nPlant selection is especially critical in small ponds: overly vigorous water lilies can quickly dominate the surface. The dwarf water lily stays comparatively more compact and is therefore very well suited if you wish to keep the water surface deliberately open. At the same time, water lilies create a pleasant pond atmosphere: the flowers draw the eye to the water, and the floating leaves give the pond a natural ‘centre’.\n\nFor good establishment, stable placement is important – ideally in a planting basket or a suitable container, so that the substrate and rhizome are secure and you can adjust the position if necessary. If you are looking for a subtle, high-quality flowering effect and would like to opt for a compact water lily, Nymphaea pygmaea ‘Alba’ is a suitable choice for a neat, natural-looking pond design. Note on shipping: We do our utmost to ensure that our plants arrive healthy and undamaged. Despite the greatest care, plants may occasionally be slightly damaged during postal delivery or due to other unforeseen circumstances. This includes brown leaves as well as snapped stems. We accept no liability for this. Do not plant in open waters such as lakes or biotopes.Zoo-Roco tip: With dwarf water lilies, it is worth placing the plant a little higher to start with and then lowering it later if necessary – this usually helps it to grow more quickly. If you are planting in a pot/mini-pond, ensure that the water lily gets enough sun and is not shaded by marginal plants.

Thanks to the powerful air pump and floating positioning, aeration is easily adjustable and permanently efficient.Important features:Powerful aeration set for garden pondsAir pump with approx. 200 l/h air outputFloating body with hose holder for flexible positioningOutflow stone and approx. 10 m air hose included in the scope of delivery Important advantages: Supports the oxygen supply during heat and ice formation Promotes the well-being of fish and pond organisms Improves the water quality through even aeration Simple installation, also suitable for beginners Technical data: Air output: approx. 200 l/h Power consumption: approx. 3 W Operating voltage: 230 V / 50 Hz Area of application: Garden ponds A sufficient oxygen supply is crucial for the ecological balance in the garden pond. Especially in the summer months, when high water temperatures reduce the oxygen content, or in winter when the ice cover is closed, oxygen deficiency can quickly occur. The JBL PondOxi set has been specially developed to reliably counteract these situations. At the heart of the set is a compact, energy-efficient air pump with an air output of around 200 liters per hour. It continuously supplies the pond with fresh air and thus supports the natural gas exchange in the water. The air stone supplied generates fine air bubbles that are evenly distributed in the pond and effectively increase the oxygen input. A particular advantage of the PondOxi set is the floating body with integrated hose guide. This allows the depth of the diffuser to be flexibly adjusted - depending on the season and the requirements of your pond. In summer, the oxygen can be introduced into deeper layers of water, while in winter positioning it close to the surface helps to maintain a small ice-free hole. The installation is deliberately kept simple: The air pump is placed outside the pond in a dry, sheltered location and connected to the diffuser via the air hose. The float is then positioned in the pond and the device is switched on. Aeration starts immediately without any complicated settings. The regular supply of oxygen not only supports the well-being of the fish, but also promotes the biological decomposition of organic substances. Foul spots at the bottom of the pond can be reduced and the water quality stabilized in the long term. The JBL PondOxi set is therefore ideal as a supplementary measure for near-natural garden ponds.Zoo Roco tip:Do not place the aerator too low in winter. Positioning it approx. 20-30 cm below the water surface is sufficient to promote gas exchange and prevent fish in deeper zones from being stirred up unnecessarily and the water from cooling down.

This allows you to continuously adapt the pond design without having to laboriously remove plants from the pond bed or repot them. The floating island is particularly suitable if there is no suitable planting area in the pond or if you deliberately do not wish to use fixed planting baskets on the bottom. At the same time, planting on the surface adds more structure to the pond’s appearance.\n\nWhether as a standalone accent or as part of a larger pond landscape, this floating plant island is a practical solution for anyone who wants to plant their pond in a flexible and decorative way—with minimal effort and maximum design freedom.Zoo-Roco tip: Choose plants for the floating island that cope well with consistent moisture. To ensure everything remains stable, press the substrate down firmly and place the island in calm water to begin with – this will help the plants to establish themselves better.
