This small animal hutch is treated with a non-toxic glaze and thus optimally protected against weathering. To maintain this protection is recommended to paint the wood every 1-3 years with a non-toxic wood stain or paint (water-based, suitable for outdoor use).

The stable should be regularly inspected for signs of browsing on the inside and the affected areas should be repaired / sanded, if necessary, so that the animals continue to be well protected and safe in the stable.
