With the Modern Living Relax scratching chair, you give your cat an attractive way to satisfy this natural need – whilst protecting your furniture and furnishings from unwanted scratch marks. This scratching furniture stands out thanks to its unique shape: designed like a small armchair/recliner, it not only encourages claw sharpening but can also serve as a comfortable resting spot. Many cats prefer spots where they can lean or lie in a slightly elevated position. This is exactly where the scratching chair shines: it combines activity and relaxation in a single product and, thanks to its homely design, blends harmoniously into the home. The scratching surface is fitted with sisal rope, which feels grippy to a cat’s claws and can encourage regular scratching. The MDF base ensures stability, so the chair remains secure even during enthusiastic scratching sessions.Zoo-Roco tip: If your cat has been scratching the sofa, place the scratching chair right next to it and rub the scratching surface briefly with a little catnip or a worn cloth. Praise your cat every time it scratches in the right place. Once the chair has ‘settled in’, you can gradually move it to the desired spot.
