Der neue Herp-Nursery II ist weiterhin mit der bewährten Peltier-Technik ausgestattet, welche dem Gerät ermöglicht die eingestellte Temperatur nicht nur durch heizen, sondern auch durch kühlen zu halten – ideal für heisse Sommer, aber auch für die Überwinterung von Reptilien. Dabei schaltet das es automatisch auf heizen oder kühlen um, je nachdem was benötigt wird um die Wunschtemperatur zu halten. Ausserdem verfügt der Herp Nursery über einen Überhitzungsschutz. Und all das bei einem durchschnittlichen Stromverbrauch von gerade einmal 10W/h.

Der Herp Nursery II besitzt ausserdem ein Sichtfenster und eine zuschaltbare Innenbeleuchtung, welche Ihnen das Beobachten der Eier erleichtert.

Der Temperaturbereich ist von der Umgebungstemperatur abhängig und beträgt ca. 5°C-60°C. Über den digitalen Thermostat lässt sich die Temperatur in 1°C Schritten einstellen. Beachten Sie, die zwischen im Inneren zwischen oberen unterem Bereich ein Temperaturgefälle von ca. 4°C besteht. So kann man in dem Gerät auch problemlos Arten mit unterschiedlichen Temperaturbedürfnissen bebrüten oder auf besondere Geschlechter brüten. Bedingt durch das Temperaturgefälle ist die Temperaturanzeige nur als Richtwert zu verstehen. Eine Überprüfung mit einem Thermometer ist daher ratsam.
