Nesea sp. GoldNesea sp. "Gold" is a stem plant, with intense yellow to orange colors that is rare in aquarium plants.
Growing difficulty:
: medium, demandingLight requirement: mediumCO₂ requirement: mediumAdult plant height: 40-50 cmGrowth: mediumTemperature: 22-28°CPlacement in aquarium: third levelOrigin: AfricaCup diameter 6 cmNesea Crassicaulis Gold (Nesea sp. Gold) from Africa, a quite rare and very decorative plant with medium requirements and moderate growth rate. With sufficient light, it takes on colors ranging from bright yellow to intense orange.
Nesea sp. Gold is not very demanding in terms of growing conditions. The yellow coloration of the leaves can be achieved even with moderately intense light. The stronger the lighting, the more the color shifts towards an orange tone. The plant can reach a height of up to 50 cm and is thus intended for the third level. However, it has a fairly moderate growth, so it does not require frequent pruning and with good care can be used as a foreground plant.
Nesea sp. Gold needs CO₂ in gaseous form, but the carbon dioxide requirement is not too high and medium due to the growth rate is not too fast. It requires nutrient-rich water for optimal appearance. However, attention should be paid to potassium levels, as excess can cause deformation of the growth cones. It grows best at temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. Since it prefers high temperatures, it is suitable for tanks with a population of extremely heat-loving fish.
The undoubted advantage of this plant is the combination of a very unusual leaf color and low requirements. Nesea sp. Gold provides a good contrast with both green and red foliage plants, and the effect is relatively easy to achieve. It does not require a large amount of CO2. It likes soft and slightly acidic water, but can grow in other parameters as well. It needs good light, a nutrient-rich substrate, CO2 and adequate fertilization to achieve intense coloration. If you want to keep Nesea sp. Gold as a background plant, you should prune it regularly. This will not only keep it at the right height, but will also make it thicker and give it a striking appearance. After pruning, the plant will rejuvenate and the cut tops can be planted in the ground.Planting: Before planting, simply rinse the plants from the gel. Unlike plants kept in rockwool, partial drainage is not required..
Carnivorous plant - Nepenthes macfarlaneisupplied in an in vitro cupdemandingPots up to 15cm tall - climbing plant up to 4 meters highBright spot without direct sunlightHumidity: 70-90%Temperature: 20-30 °C during the day and 15-20 °C at nightNepenthes macfarlanei, also known as Macfarlane's pitcher plant, is a tropical insectivorous plant that is native to the mountainous regions of Malaysia, particularly the Malay Peninsula. The plant is characterized by the fact that it produces trap-like pitchers that are used to catch and digest insects. The pitchers are green, often with red or purple spots, and can reach a length of up to 15 cm. The pitcher has a lid on top to prevent rain from entering the trap.Nepenthes macfarlanei is a demanding plant, especially in terms of humidity and water quality. It is ideal for growing in terrariums or special greenhouses for tropical plants.size:
The slow-growing plant climbs over 4 meters high, forms leaves
usually 8 cm apart and has a fairly thick trunk
Light:
Nepenthes macfarlanei prefers bright, diffuse light. It grows best in partial shade, where it is protected from direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.Substrate:
The best substrate for this plant is a mixture of sphagnum peat, perlite and pine bark in a ratio of 2:1:1. The substrate should be well-drained and slightly acidic (pH 4.5-5.5).Nepenthes macfarlanei needs to be watered regularly to keep the substrate
constantly moist, but not wet. It is best to use
distilled water or rainwater, as the plant is sensitive to the mineral salts
tothe mineral salts contained in tap water. Feeding/ fertilizing:
Pitcher plants generally do not require additional fertilization as they absorb nutrients from the insects they catch. At home, a very diluted plant fertilizer can occasionally be added to the watering water.Humidity:
High humidity is crucial for the proper development of Nepenthes macfarlanei. The humidity should be between 70 % and 90 %. Regular spraying and the use of foggers is recommended. In the home, this plant thrives best in the bathroom if it is showered daily.
Temperature:
This plant thrives well in moderate to warm temperatures. The optimum range is 20-30 °C during the day and 15-20 °C at night. Large temperature fluctuations should be avoided. Propagation:
The plant propagates by seed. In cultivation, this also works with cuttings. The combination of carnivorous plants with reptiles

Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig' Alternanthera Reineckii Rosanervig is a red aquarium plant for the middle ground of the aquarium. The striking pattern on the leaves makes this species a real rarity in any planted aquarium..
Growing difficulty: moderately demanding Light requirement: medium CO₂ requirement: medium Outgrown plant height: up to 30cm Growth: medium Temperature: 22-28°C Placement in aquarium: second level Origin: cultivated variety Cup diameter: 6cm Alternanthera Reineckii 'Rosanervig', or Alternanthera Reineka Rosanervig, also known as Red Ruby. You may also come across the name Alternanthera Cardinalis, but that is not the scientific name for this plant. It is a very impressive member of the Amaranthaceae family that looks best in the background, in the center of the tank.In large aquariums, it can be planted in the foreground. If regularly cut back to a height of 5-10 cm, it will form a beautiful red carpet. Its distinctive feature is the burgundy pink leaves with contrasting light veins. The color of the leaves depends on the conditions in the aquarium. It is popular for arrangements in Dutch style aquariums. It is recommended to plant 6-7 seedlings in a group to form a compact, interesting-looking shrub.
This variety needs a lot of light and is quite a demanding plant in this respect. A fertile substrate is also essential. It grows well in active media. The plant easily reproduces by dividing shoots that grow at the base of the stem and leaves. Cuttings cut from the mother plant can be put directly into the substrate. They quickly form a root system.
For lush growth is recommended average minimum fertilization of Alternantera rosanervig with CO₂, i.e. with a content of 6 - 14 mg/l. It is advisable to use liquid fertilizers so that the plant does not lack micro and macro elements. This variety is not very demanding on water parameters. It grows in soft to hard water with pH between 5 and 8.
The leaves of Alternantera rosanervig are very dense, so the plant is often used by smaller fish as protection from predators, and shade-loving species like to stay under it.
Alternantera rosanervig looks nice near species such as Hemianthus callitrichoides Cuba and Aponogeton boivinianus . It contrasts nicely with the green of the other aquatic plants.Planting:The plant must be removed from the cup and thoroughly rinsed of gel under running water. This is best done by placing the plant in a container of lukewarm water. Most of the gel will then fall off by itself.

SuperFish Pond Fogger
Ultrasonic nebulizer
with LED light (colour changer - the colour cannot be adjusted)
diameter 12 cm
Water depth at least 7 cm
For Pond:
The SuperFish Pond Fogger + LED lighting can easily generate a mysterious fog on our pond. Especially in the evening it creates a special atmosphere, when the low-hanging fog is illuminated by the built-in LEDs and moves slowly over the pond water.
This Pond Fogger operates best in a small pond, the effect will be less in a large pond. The Fogger floats on the water, the surface water is slowly atomized by an ultrasonic vibration. No Chemicals are involved, so completely environmentally friendly and safe for your fishes.
Equipped with 10 meter cable an fully waterproof (IP68)
For open aquariums:Also an eye-catcher on an open aquarium - a mist forms on the surface. An additional effect is that the humidity in the room is increased, so to speak a humidifier for the living room. The long cable would not be necessary, but this can be easily stored in the cabinet. The light does not disturb the fish, because it does not shine so strongly. For terrariums:Can also be used in a terrarium. The fog increases the humidity.Because the Pond Fogger floats, the ultrasonic fogger is always at the right water level.Tip: Put a glass vase with a diameter of about 12 cm (be careful to include the cable - it is best to take the Fogger with you when you buy the vase) into the terrarium and fill it with water. The fog will then overflow the edge and thus provide humidity in the terrarium and the effect is great. You can also stick moss on the vase, so the whole thing looks natural.Do not use it in swimming ponds (or bathtubs) - that means not when people are in the water. This is a note on the manufacturer's instructions for use.The device has a transformer and the fogger in the water is supplied with low voltage (24V). To my knowledge this is not dangerous for humans or animals.

Because LEDs have only really become more energy-saving than fluorescent tubes recently, there has generally been no technology and no demand (!) to optimise the LED light spectrum for aquarium plants. Up to now LEDs have only been used in the technical sector and in the home. The light spectrum of aquatic plants, however, varies considerably from the spectrum in the home or the LEDs for torches. Here it is a matter of the photosynthetically active radiation range, called PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation), and a full spectrum which contains the TOTAL range within the visible light spectrum. Only with those two components could the perfect light for aquarium plants be manufactured!Since JBL was the first manufacturer worldwide to develop a full spectrum modelled on sunlight with its JBL SOLAR fluorescent tubes, our development department didn’t just want to use the available home spectrums for LED aquarium technology, it wanted to create a SOLAR full spectrum, especially for aquariums! This took some time – but now it is available! The very special features of the new JBL LED SOLAR lights:
The JBL LED SOLAR Lamps are suitable as replacements for ALL fluorescent tube lengths
together with the light the basic equipment JBL SOLAR Natur contains a remote control unit for simple and professional control
The JBL LED lights have a full spectrum and are plant-optimised due to their high PAR values (photosynthetically active radiation). That is an achievement of our JBL research!
Convenient holders enable installation in existing T5 and T8 tube end caps, plug-on holders, made of stainless steel, are of course also included.
Also compatible with a light computer which can be steered by mobile phone. This enables light values for various biotopes, incl. rainy season, clouds and thunderstorm
