Artemia salina is a small crustacean that can be found in salt lakes all over the world. It has the special property of laying eggs that can survive dry for about a year. The JBL PRONOVO ARTEMIO contains large, gently freeze-dried Artemia crayfish. They are very popular with practically all fish species and also have a high nutritional value. Unlike live and frozen food, there is no risk of introducing diseases or unwanted bacteria into the aquarium. With freeze-dried Artemia there is also no need to pour off salt water from live Artemia.
