Simple installation on any aquarium edge (max. 20 mm thick). 12 V low voltage with universal power supply unit for all mains voltages. 2 sizes When water evaporates, evaporative cooling is produced. This physical process is used here. Many freshwater fish and plants do not tolerate temperatures above 30 °C and even 27-30 °C is already a strain. Corals also die at temperatures above 30 °C. It is therefore essential to cool the water at high temperatures.The fans cause a stream of air to flow over the water surface, which leads to evaporation. The evaporating water must of course be replenished. As only pure water (H2O) evaporates, the minerals that cause the hardness of the water remain in the aquarium water, which increases in hardness. Soft water (or osmosis or distilled water) must therefore be topped up.Topping up with hard tap water would lead to an increase in the total hardness of the aquarium. Optimum temperature transferThe safety control heater from JBL offers optimum temperature transfer in the range of 20-34°C. A control accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C is guaranteed with the aid of the setting wheel. The maximum achievable temperature depends on the water volume and the temperature difference to the surrounding room. Safety control heaterEmbedded in a protective cage to prevent fish from burning themselves. The heater is waterproof, can be immersed up to 100 cm and is very stable with 2 mm safety quartz glass. If the water level drops or the heater is removed from the water, the safety thermal switch switches off the power supply to protect against overheating. The heater is TÜV-certified.
