Our biobarrier ball is very easy to use. Each ball is attached to a transparent nylon thread with a clay ring at the end. Simply press the clay ring firmly into the gravel of your aquarium and you can let your biosphere ball float freely.
These floating balls are perfect for aquarists of all experience levels. The Java moss on the balls is extremely easy to care for and requires minimal maintenance. The water temperature should be between 19 and 30 degrees Celsius and moderate light is sufficient, making them ideal for various types of aquariums.
The length of the Java moss on the balls can be shortened at any time as required to ensure a compact appearance. This makes them particularly attractive for nano aquariums in which shrimps live. You can also easily reattach the cut pieces of moss to other places in the aquarium to create additional design options.

With its interesting growth habit, flame moss is great for decorating horizontal areas and can also be used as a lawn. It looks great when grafted onto branching roots. Ideal for nano aquariums, shrimp tanks, but also for larger tanks.
Unlike most mosses, it grows quickly in height and spreads much more slowly laterally. It grows well on roots, rocks, coconut shells or other decorative elements. It has no extensive root system, so it is not suitable for planting in the ground. The Taxiphyllum does not need strong lighting or carbon dioxide fertilization to grow well. However, it will grow faster with stronger lighting. It tolerates a wide temperature range from 18 to 28 °C. Frequent water changes encourage its growth, but it does not tolerate rapid changes in water parameters. It grows well in both soft and hard water. It thrives without additional macro- or micronutrient fertilization.
Pruning helps the plant to compact and grow, creating a strikingly dense bed. Pruning is done with sharp moss shears. The cut branches can be reinserted into the aquarium to propagate.

Hinweise
Eine sehr dekorative Sorte der Vallisneria spiralis mit einer gedrehten Wuchsform. Sie wird im Handel auch als ´Schraubenvallisnerie´ bezeichnet. Mit einer Höhe von 30-50 cm bleiben die Blätter deutlich kürzer als bei der Stammform. In der Kultur ist sie ebenfalls anspruchslos, lediglich die Lichtstärke sollte etwas höher sein als bei der normalen V. spiralis. Die Sorte ´Torta´ ist für den Mittelgrund von kleinen, oder den Hintergrund von größeren Aquarien geeignet.

Der Javafarn ist die beliebteste Farnart in der Aquaristik und im tropischen Asien weit verbreitet. Die Art ist sehr variabel mit vielen Blattformen und Grössen. Aufgrund der Anspruchslosigkeit ist sie die perfekte Einsteigerpflanze. Am besten wachsen die Pflanzen mit den Rhizomen aufgebunden auf Steinen und Wurzeln. Eine mäßige bis normale Beleuchtung reicht völlig aus, wobei die Pflanze auch bei stärkerer Beleuchtung gut wächst. In the back of the screen cover are 5 closable wire or tube inlets on both sides to install Heat Wave Rocks, Waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. The bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater to heat a part of the extended ground surface. The extra high fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrates (burrowing reptiles), aquatic parts (paludarium) or to mount an Exo Terra reptile den. The natural background is in the same colour like all other Exo Terra decoration items (Water Dishes, Waterfalls, Heat Wave Rocks, etc.) and provides an extra climbing dimension.
