Wandelndes Blatt - Phyllium siccifolium Das Wandelnde Blatt lebt in den Regenwäldern von Südost-Asien. Die Weibchen erreichen eine Endgrösse von ca. 10cm und die Lebenserwartung liegt bei 9 Monaten. Die Männchen erreichen eine Endgrösse von ca. 6cm und die Lebenserwartung liegt bei ca. 4 Monaten.  Aussehen Meist sind die Wandelnden Blätter grün oder auch braun. Der Hinterkörper gleicht einem Blatt, daher auch der Name. In Brombeerblätter sind sie kaum zu erkennen.  Haltung Ein Terrarium mit denn Massen von 60x40x40cm ist für die Wandelnden Blätter optimal. Als Bodengrund kann man Kokosfaserhumus oder Terrarienerde verwenden. Laub und Moos kann über den Bodengrund verstreut werden, damit kann man es optisch verschönern. Die Brombeerblätter sollten in eine Vase oder einen Becher gestellt werden. Der Behälter sollte leicht abgedeckt werden, damit die Tiere nicht hineinfallen. Zusätzliche Äste sollten als Klettermöglichkeiten zur Verfügung stehen. Die Temperatur sollte zwischen 25-28°C liegen und die Luftfeuchte 70-95% betragen. Die Brombeerblätter müssen regelmässig erneuert werden. Bevor Sie sich für Wandelnde Blätter entscheiden, sollten Sie unbedingt ein entsprechendes Fachbuch gelesen haben. Für jede Tierhaltung gilt: Kinder (auch Jugendliche) müssen von den Eltern angeleitet, beaufsichtigt und kontrolliert werden.
