A stable pH value is important for the well-being of fish, shrimps and plants. As many dissolved substances in the water are affected by the pH value, significant fluctuations should be avoided. The JBL test helps to detect changes at an early stage and to check water parameters regularly. Thanks to the laboratory comparator system, any natural colouration of the aquarium water is compensated for. To do this, one cuvette is filled with aquarium water and reagent, whilst a second cuvette serves as a control sample. The value is then read off the colour scale.
